This weeks Weekend Caption Contest™ had everyone in the holiday captioning spirit. Your host and judge was busy finishing off The Weblog Awards, so the judging of the event got delayed a day. Consider it fermentation time for your captions... they just get better with ages. Anyway, the assignment this week was to caption the following picture:
Here are the winning entries:
1) (Rodney Dill) - "The new leadership on Capital Hill moved quickly to fill the void left by Jack Abramoff."
2) (Baron Von Ottomatic) - "Poor Winthorp, it's such a sorted affair..."
3) (fustian) - "Looks like Mark Foley is dating again."
Honorable Mention
4) (FormerHostage) - "Things haven't been the same since the reindeer unionized."
5) (914) - "Santa Claus is slummin too town!"
6) (OregonMuse) - "Dammit, what happened to those turkeys that were here a minute ago...?"
The Too Cruel To Win Award goes to:
(Pretzel_logic) - "Jay Tea bids farewell as he heads off to his new gig."
Until next Friday...

It is "sordid" affair, not "sorted". Welcome to the English language - spoken in a town near you.
