This weeks Weekend Caption Contest™ was a bit trickier than I'd originally anticipated. There were plenty of good entries, but none completely bowled me over, as is usually the case. Perhaps my judging antenna is a bit out of tune this week, and I'm completely missing it... Anyway, the assignment this week was to caption the following picture:
Here are the winning entries:
1) (Tim) - "Good thing they don't let us carry guns!"
2) (Timmer) - "Fans began waiting in line early after 'A Clockwork Orange 2008' was announced."
3) (fustian) - "I see the London bobbies smiling as they cheerily handcuff themselves for no reason at all, and I am reminded of Congressional Republicans."
Honorable Mention
4) (taz) - "Fetish conventioneers prepare for the world's largest BD/SM orgy in London."
5) (Master Shake) - "I wonder if the shock from the taser will work its way down the entire row?"
6) (Usful Ijit) - "Bobbie Queue"
The Bend It Like Beckham Award goes to:
(Baron Von Ottomatic ) - "Bobbies line the route to Heathrow, each wanting to be sure David Beckham and his abhorrent wife board their plane to L.A.."
Until next Friday...

Call it what you want, but in the end you have rejected reality and substituted your own.
Not to mention the supreme irony of you "slamming" Fox for being biased by linking to Think Progess.
