OK, it's all fallen into place. I know Al Gore's secret.
For years, something has bothered me about the former vice-president. Something seemed just a little "off" with him. But I've finally managed to piece together enough evidence to prove just who "Al Gore" really is.
Let's look at a few key facts:
- Gore has a respect for Mother Nature that borders on outright fear of her power.
- Gore is greatly concerned about the Earth growing warmer.
- Everywhere Gore has gone lately, it seems, it has suddenly turned cold.
- His presidential ambitions were crushed in the Sunshine State.
I am left with the unescapable conclusion that this is the real Al Gore:

I think I will finally start tallying the number of posts here dedicated to your heroes. You all really can't get enough of Kerry and Gore and Clinton can you?
You know, after the 04 elections, the left blogosphere sat around and cried for a bit but they quickly went back to work, with their eyes on 06. They organized, busted their balls and it paid off for them, big.
So far on the right blogosphere, after getting their asses kicked hard in the 06 election, mostly all I see are posts obsessing about Gore or Kerry or Clinton, and circular firing squads blaming each other for their losses.
Where's your sense of the crucial races for the GOP, new candidates, fundraising, and gushy fawning posts about what a great candidate RudyMcCainBrownbackRomney et al are? Vulnerable seats? Anything?
You guys are still caught in sore loser sulking mode, but please don't change on account of my observations. It's so much easier to talk trash about those who cleaned your clocks, and it really does make you look most bitter and kind of flailing in desperation too.
If you guys want to remain in the minority again, please continue to obsess over people who aren't running. It's great fun to witness.

But continue to look into the past to console yourself about your party being further and further marginalized in the national spectrum.
It really won't help you win in 2008, if that's your concern. But around these parts it doesn't seem to be which is fine by me.
The term troll gets thrown around so frequently here whenever you cannot offer a decent rebuttal, but I understand your frustrations lately. It's okay, maybe someday after they have purged their party of bible thumping wackos and K street scumbags, maybe the GOP can be the conservative party again that favored a balanced budget, respected individual rights and stayed out of the nation building business.
Until then, you can flail and complain like test animals in trapped cages. It's so much fun to witness.

Besides - Gore/Kerry arent necessarily "past" - Kerry just recently blew his re-run and as I've said before on this blog, I firmly believe that Mr. Al (Oscar/Nobel nominee) Gore will be the democrats nominee. I thought you love to boast about your victories, but it's getting harder and harder to find a professed conservative who has much positive to say about the Decider. Hell, even his own party is starting to stay away from him in droves.
Notice any of the votes in Congress since they started? Notice how many republicans have broken ranks and voted with the dems? Bush, once trumpted as some great visionairy leader, is now political poison. Watch and see how many of the GOP candidates up for re-election are distancing themselves from him and his failed policies like the black death.
Kerry is a terrible candidate, I argree with that. He was in 04, and thank gods he wont run in 08.
