Hillary Running for Panderer in Chief

If you don't think YouTube et al will change politics, you haven't been paying attention.

Hillary was caught putting on a fake Southern drawl while addressing a church service this weekend... Drudge linked it and boom! it goes national.

But still I have to wonder.... Are the people she is addressing stupid enough to fall for this?

Personally, -even if I spoke that way- I'd be insulted. I guess the people Hillary appeals to are different.

That may be the worst fake drawl I have ever heard, she lived in Arkansas for all those years and thats the best she can do? Heck, the closest I have ever gotten to living in the south is southern Indiana and I can do a drawl at least 50 times better.

C'mon people. Obviously the people in the crowd knew she's faking a drawl. From the sounds of it, the crowd was eating it up. I'm sure everyone in the crowd (assuming they haven't been under a rock for 20 years) knows that Hillary does not have an accent.

GW on the other hand, frequently uses a Texas drawl that sounds totally fake to me. Ever wonder why he has an accent, but his brother Jeb does not? Neither of their parents has an accent either.

So where does GW's accent come from? Answer: it's faked in order to make him seem more likable. If you ever notice, depending on the crowd he's speaking to he uses it more than other times. In particular, he likes to leave off the "g" as in walkin' talkin', etc.

Bush is the one who's faking it. Hillary was just playing the crowd.

Hell, she's married (kinda) to a southerner. She should know better.

Afterall, I'd only be trying to sound like the person that wrote it. At least that's the logic TPM is using to say Hillary is A-O-K.

We have to stay awake. We have a march to finish. On this Lord's day, let us say with one voice the words of James Cleveland's great freedom hymn, "I don't feel no ways tired/I come too far from where I started from/Nobody told me that the road would be easy/I don't believe he brought me this far to leave me."

And we know -- we know -- we know, if we finish this march, what awaits us? St. Paul told us, in the letter to the Galatians, "Let us not grow weary in doing good, for in due seasons we shall reap, if we do not lose heart."

The point is not whether the accent is "acquired". Surely our President acquired it from his years in the State of Texas. I was raised in the south (from birth), went to college in Texas, and was somewhat surprised to see many of my Midwestern classmates adopt the same accent.

Nothing you nor TPM says about it changes the fact that Hillary comes off as moronic.

There is absolutely no reason on god's green earth that ...say...Mitt Romney would have been given a "pass" like Hill has if he were in front of a Chinese audience and adopted a fake Chinese accent (think Rosie O'Donnell's "ching ching chang chung" schtick) and then tried to pass it off as only quoting a passage from The Kitchen God's Wife.

And that's leaving aside the HUGE double standard by the MSM when it comes to Democrat candidates shamelessly campaigning in churches.

Thank you Darleen for asking the question that no one else did.

Why do Democratice candidates get a pass while campaigning IN CHURCH?

Why does the church get a pass on allowing it?

In 30 years of regular church attendance, I have heard one message on the political process - 'people should involve themselves in their community as their conscience dictates' - but the church has never endorsed any candidate or allowed any candidate to speak there.

Then, I turn on the news and see the Democratic flavor of the month campaigning in churches during services.
