What do you want us to say, Steve? Should we follow the theme of the Edwards posts? Say that we hope Snow recovers, but he's also a shameless bastard who's using his illness for political gain and we won't miss him if he dies?
In fact... ha! Snow doesn't even have cancer! He's just trotting out this "growth" to temper the sympathy Edwards was getting!
Is that what we're supposed to say, Steve? Well, no thanks. We'll leave the gloating about someone else's illness to you and the right.
Lorie apparently takes issue with "the reaction of some" on the left with Snow, but seems to pay no mind to "the reaction of some" about Edwards right here on these very pages. No surprise there.

The vast majority of posts and comments on Edwards from the center and right have been sympathetic and filled with best wishes and prayers. Brian is projecting his own internal hate on others.
Michael, no, online at least, Brian is an asshole. Pompous is an occasional mask he wears, but he's an asshole fulltime. With the occasional smoke, coffee, and lunch breaks.

Did you hear this on Gibson's show ,too? Or at one of 100 other places where Bushbots gather together for warmth?
The memo has gone out: Imply across all media(again!) that anonymous blog COMMENTERS are contract agents of the DNC and scalawags, and that somehow, through mass consciousness, no candy or flowers shall EVER be sent to Tony's room. (And satanists: do your thing!)
Whereas WE (of the good RNC) wish Mrs. Edwards the very, very best! (And we love your house!)

I love the way Tony schooled the entire clueless W.H. press corps on the detainee bill. David Gregory still doesn't understand what the proposed law was.
It's astounding that Tony could be so clear and completely forthcoming, but the lib slobs couldn't figure it out. And, Tony's not even a lawyer.
And through it all, Tony repressed what must have been incredible frustration that he was, in essence, having to school these pathetic creatures who believe themselves the vanguard of our "Right to Know." And he conducted himself with class.
Which is more than you can say for his detractors.

Brian: "He's just trotting out this "growth" to temper the sympathy Edwards was getting!"
Yes, Tony & Karl Rove transitioned the "Hurricane Generation Machine" to "Create a Colon Growth" that was sufficiently realistic enough to "fool" all those stupid Oncologists who are known to be easily fooled about potentially cancerous growths, and what for? Why, according to Brian, for the express purpose of "temper"-ing "the sympathy Edwards was getting."
Clearly, Brian "questions" the timing.
BryanD: "No one shovelled the neo-con shit like this character."
I think we are all still waiting for the moment when a lefty, ANY lefty, can provide a coherent explanation of exactly what criteria must exist for someone to labeled a "neo-con". Of course, I have illusions about that happening today.

NeoCon=Jews. That is it plain and simple. You would not expect lefties to be openly anti-semetic now would you? I wish Tony well. He is a very civil man. You don't have to agree with him to realize that. Civility is something that is lost on the lefties. ww
