Reagan appointee Thomas Hogan will not be invited to the ACLU's Christmas, er, I mean 'holiday' party:
U.S. District Judge Thomas F. Hogan threw out a lawsuit brought on behalf of nine former prisoners in Iraq and Afghanistan. He said Rumsfeld cannot be held personally responsible for actions taken in connection with his government job.* * *
'There is no getting around the fact that authorizing monetary damages remedies against military officials engaged in an active war would invite enemies to use our own federal courts to obstruct the Armed Forces' ability to act decisively and without hesitation,' Hogan wrote [in dismissing the lawsuit] Tuesday.
* * *
Hogan also dismissed the charges against other officials named in the lawsuit: retired Lt. Gen. Ricardo S. Sanchez, former Brig. Gen. Janis L. Karpinski and Col. Thomas M. Pappas.

How about a Halliburton Goes To Dubai survey, counselor?
What can one say about the above post? It's reasonable policy with unjust results and power has its priviledges.

Now people, go easy on the truth. People like bryanD are prone to suicide when you burst the tin foil bubble they live in.
The 'All Crazy Losers United' only filed the suit in hopes of getting one of the crazy judges put on the bench in the 90's.
'Halliburton Goes To Dubai survey': First, who is the chief representative of Dubia in the U.S.? Isn't it the Slick Willie Clinton family? Even the most dense leftie should remember this from a year ago and they're still on Dubia's payroll. With a dhimmi controlled congress a lot of corporations will move overseas. Just hide and watch.
First dhimmi budget proposal includes the largest tax increase in America's history. Are you ready?
Money for peanuts, spinish and shrimp but no money for American troops. Typical democrat. Why don't the democrats, they carry guns in the Senate, just go to Iraq, hug an American soldier and shoot him/her in the back of the head. Save everyone a lot of trouble.
