Apparently, we all now have the right to set rules for language that's acceptable to the demographic groups to which we belong.
So from here on out, when speaking in front of us non-gangstas, the term "nappy headed ho" should be replaced with "Chrystal Gail Mangum".
Anything else is offensive, and grounds for retribution.

Perhaps you're jumping the gun here just a little?,
I don't think Nafong can be "fired" since he's an elected official. I imagine he can be recalled and certainly not re-elected. And then there is the issue of ethics complaints against him and what might happen to his law license as a result of that.
I imagine Nafong will feel some serious repercussions as soon as possible.

Nifong is a tool, and he'll be gone soon. Imus has been going steady for years. The bigger item in the Imus story, as usual, is the media members that ran full speed (david gregory) to get on the Imus show. The media is the biggest story here once again, but is obviously is under reported because the media will NEVER report about itself in a negative matter.

Since these are the new rules, how about Glenn Beck being fired off of CNN?

Nifong most likely has a jail cell with his name already painted on it.
Imus can go home to his ranch, Send all of the crippled black children home or somewhere that he's been helping for years and live like a king for the rest of his life. No, he didn't just help black children, he helped all races which will now come to an end. Are Je$$ie and $harpton lining up to take over the task. Not them two racist POS, they shove millions in the matress or down a hole. Can the FBI arrange a plane crash with one of them on the plane and accidently land on the others head. Oh well, guess we'll just have to wait to hear the screams when they burn in hell.
Anyone have the link to the site that sell 'real' preacher diploma's for $25. I've heard that phony preachers make more than the average worker. The more you lie the more you make. Works for them two POS.

Ah, yes, the paradigm of fair and balanced repoting. No axe to grind with someone who tells his audience that he is a conservative every show... Phooey. I periodically force myself to listen to the nearest Air America station and those jokers are just as bad (if not worse) than any conservative radio or TV guy you care to name, so just that (most likely) out-of-context BS and go back to playing with you your Bush voodoo doll.

For those who think Nifong will get his..
Forget it. Lawyers are known to rabidly protect their own; even ones who are incompetent or even criminal. The NC Bar Association will let his 'apology' be used to 'balance' out his behavior. They'll give him a slap on the wrist, and he'll continue as prosecutor. This is of course unless a NC Law firm offers him a spot, and of course he'll have to take advantage of that 'opportunity'.
Book deals and on-air 'consultant' jobs await him.
Remember, he persecuted a bunch of rich white kids; a 'non-protected' class. It's not like he repeated Imus' statement. THAT would get him disbarred immediately.
