A few points/questions:
1) The amendment Rep King wants added states (according to the article, don't know what the actual amendment states) that "House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) will not be permitted to use State Department funds to travel ...". Is the provision explicitly stated that way? Did she use State Dept. funds to travel the first time? If not, then this is definitely just posturing.

2) I'm fine with this as long as it applies to all Congressmen, Republicans and Democrats, Senators and Representatives, not just Speaker Pelosi. Let's not forget several other Congressmen also visited Syria just around the same time as Pelosi, so they should be consistent and apply it across the board instead of singling out one individual.
