Good point. AT least we should not provide the excuse or the propaganda aid to the mullahs ans the mad pres Adm as the radical progressives have done so far. I am thinking the best way to deal with Lee Ward and the group over at blew (as in what Monica did to Bill) is to ignore them. Let them post here, but do not respond to the BS as that is what they want. The opposite of love is not hate but apathy.

These events in Iran point up just how vulnerable the regime is to outside pressure. They are an importer of gasoline for God's sake. A simple blockade in the Gulf and the economy collapses.

And as pointed out, a well-aimed TLAM could destroy the one refinery they do have.

These sorts of approaches make far more sense than a multi-week bombing campaign that would try to destroy the dozens of sites where their nuclear technology is located. Of course, none of this is really needed right now since they are still a ways off from getting a bomb.

It's not clear at all that they would abandon their nuclear program even if there were a regime change from within so I'm not sure what we gain by supporting the internal dissidents other than allowing the clerics to paint them as the lackeys of the Jews and infidels. Probably best to keep our mouths shut about that and keep trying to tighten the screws on the sanctions.

Interestingly, he complains about a blog that has traffic and heavy commenting, while at his sandbox that he contributes to the majority of comments come from the contributors.

I do visit your sandbox, primarily to click on the one star. That doesn't take very long. The other purpose is to keep a rough count on the number of comments between wizblue contributors in their effort to fluff up the comments numbers. Plus, it's kind of humorous to see how you all praise and reinforce each others comments. Nothing like watching a bunch of socialists pat themselves on the back for being socialists.

I have, in the past, posted some comments at wizblues. You'll probably find that was a couple of weeks ago. It was a momentary lapse or reason. I soon realized it did nothing but inflate your sense of worth by increasing your perceived impact.

I remember the "gas shortage' here in the 1970s, with the cars parked overnight at the station to be the first in line. Pintos and VeeDubs to Porches and Beemers, were reduced to hunks of junk without fuel. People maybe broke into a fight or two to get their fair share for the day. Still, it was nowhere near the way it is in Iran with the looting and explosions. Again, I am reminded there ain't no place like the good ol' U.S. of A.
