A couple of days ago I linked to Bob Owens' post about a story the AP ran about 20 decapitated bodies (along with heads) found in Iraq. Bob was questioning whether or not the story was genuine since the sourcing was sketchy, at best. Reuters also ran the story which it now appears was a hoax. Newsbusters posted the following which Reuters ran today.
BAGHDAD, June 30 (Reuters) - Media reports attributed to Iraqi police of 20 decapitated bodies found south of Baghdad this week were untrue and may have been planted by insurgents to provoke revenge attacks, the U.S. military said on Saturday.

It certainly fits the template so what the heck? I am astonished (as I was by Dan Rather's "fake, but accurate") that some are so honest about not caring whether or not a report is true.
Regarding the comment itself...Is it really only 100 a day being killed in a country at war? I hadn't really thought about it, but always assumed it was higher. I wonder how many are killed in the U.S. everyday. It has to be more than 100.

The part that read "The press abroad and at home has done a terrible job at reporting the whole story about the War on Terror" pretty much includes foreign and domestic news services.
If your dumb liberal a@@ could read than you would know that.
But if your dumb liberal a@@ could read and your IQ was higher than your blood alcohol level than you could see that the list I made directly address the lack of reporting on issues that would support what our Military is doing.
Reuters photo shopped images during the Israeli/Lebanon conflict last year and this bogus beheading story that had no real confirmation are
just examples of the rush to put out a story that
makes our efforts to combat jihadist much more difficult.
If your dumb liberal a@@ does not get it,than
take your olberman wanna be a@@ over to Iraq and
tell Rear Admiral Fox that there is no anti-military bias in the media. He sees it and says it costs lives.
Bogus reports about mass murder incite groups to retaliate which gets our Soldiers and innocent men, women, and children killed.

And if he doesn't know why it's ridiculous, it's an even sadder world than I thought.
Then when Baxter gives him a long list of things the media has been:
A) reporting incorrectly
B) reporting with bias
C) remiss in reporting
D) all the above
JFO calls it a "silly laundry list" as he is unable to make a connection between a pattern of behavior and questioning the motives behind that behavior - even though someone clearly points it out.
