Republicans have made fundamentally wrong choices for America, and instead embarked on a self-serving, morally righteous crusade that has touched and tainted everything from the Justice Department's US Attorney scandal, to the Iraq march to war and subsequent attempts to involve Iran as a part of a religious imperative to rid the world of Islam. Now it's time to pay the piper...

I hit on this a few days ago in a post titled "McCain's Dirty Little Money Secrets", and now a defiant and arrogant Cindy McCain is back in the news this morning, and once again its news of her own making. She's the kind of trouble John McCain just doesn't need -- but as far as I can see McCain has no chance of keeping a lid on the problems she will create for his candidacy.

That park is in the center of the NYU Campus. It's a 24/7 pick up spot. Any guy that needs Obama to help him score is a loser.

Langtry,
Basically, it's:
"Come and support Obama, and meet other singles who support Obama! Or, just skip the Obama part and try to score!"

langtry, to sum it up, the last part reads:
One ardent Obama supporter (who declined to give his name because he works in politics) says he'll attend both the rally and the after-party, and he doesn't expect to be going home alone.
He's confident for a reason.
"Let's face it: Leftie girls are easy," he says.

Thanks, SOTG.
Obama seems more and more like Howard Dean every day. Remember how HowDe was so far ahead of the other candidates in Individual Contributions (ie, web fundraising)? Remeber all of HowDe's "Meet Ups"? Those were the same thing as Obama's hook up parties, albiet in a more noble-seeming package.
Not that it made an ounce of difference. HowDe's candidacy was a joke, just as is Obama's.

Obama certainly won't win the nomination in 2008. For good or bad, Hillary Clinton has that all but locked up. Many young people are attracted to the Obama campaign for various reasons, but his inexperience certainly has proven itself in every Democratic debate performance so far. Clinton is ethicly challenged, but also the strongest candidate in the debates so far. Neither Obama or Edwards have so far proven themselves to be any match at all for Clinton. Edwards proved his weakness once before as failing to add much to the John Kerry ticket in 2004, and hasn't improved much more this year so far in my view.
Lorie, this second part is way off topic. But do a post on the new TV shows sometime. I mainly watched the new CBS shows last week and THE BIG BANG THEORY sitcom managed a few good laughs, but it's hard to see where this series can go in the next few weeks about a science nerd chasing a cute girl who moves in down the hall in an apartment. CANE, the new drama on CBS was a big disappointment to me. After the excellent NCIS and THE UNIT lead-ins, this drama about a successful Cuban-American family seemed to lack enough action, and seemed a little too ethnic for my personal tastes, creating a poor personal identification with the characters for me. Any Jimmy Smits may be the family "enforcer" and "Guardian", but this is hardly enough conflict with me to keep my interest. Critics might have liked this show, but I certainly didn't. I intend to watch LAW & ORDER:SVU next week instead. MOONLIGHT looks promising though, and likely is a better fit for GHOST WHISPERER, and is a great dark drama entry for Friday. I'm going to catch up with other new shows on NBC and FOX I recorded on DVD this weekend like CHUCK and BIONIC WOMAN. Lorie, any thoughts on the new TV season yet?
