I donated a '96 Cougar in perfect condition and only 35K miles to Autism Speaks (about $5K). I give over $1,500 in goods to Vietnam Vets and I another $2,000 to a women's shelter every year. I also give to the Salvation Army, Between Friends and to local community groups such as the BSA. I would guess that I will donate about 8 to 9% of my gross income this year. I hope to better in the future.

Take a $50 product and sell it for $50. With that purchase the buyer gets the same product with the same $50 value and then gives it away via Rush to a soldier.

$50 minus $50 equals what? ZERO.
