A Muslim cleric in Iran says that women who don't wear the hajib should die.
A top Muslim cleric in Iran, Hojatolislam Gholam Reza Hassani said on Wednesday that women in Iran who do not wear the hijab or Muslim headscarf, should die."Women who do not respect the hijab and their husbands deserve to die," said Hassani, who leads Friday prayers in the city of Urumieh, in Iranian Azerbaijan.
"I do not understand how these women who do not respect the hijab, 28 years after the birth of the Islamic Republic, are still alive," he said.
"These women and their husbands and their fathers must die," said Hassani, who is the representative of the Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei in eastern Azerbaijan.
This is nothing more than an invitation for Islamic thugs to roam the streets of Iran and beat the crap out of Iranian women who don't pass the Islamic dress test.

"Religion of Peace"
Apparently, "peace" meant something quite different in the seventh century....

When they refer to "Peace," they mean in the sense of "Rest in ..."
They have beheaded women for adultery and hanged men for being gay, so street beatings must seem to them a mild form of reprimand.
What utter nonsense is the "multiculturalism" which considers such backward, barbaric societies to be deserving of equal respect with Western Culture! They clearly are NOT the equivalent in any way, shape, or form.
In the 7th Century, even life in Europe was "nasty, brutish, and short." The difference being, of course, that one civilization progressed and the other has not.

Well, don't worry. If anything bad happens to women in Iran, we should expect the same kind of outcry and protests we heard from NOW and other American feminist groups that we heard about the rape victim in Saudi Arabia and the teddy bear teacher in Sudan.
