jp2,
Do you actually read the articles you link to?
"But Shaath said the Palestinians at the meeting did not think the president was suggesting that God actually spoke to him. "I think it's a manner of speech," Shaath said. "I don't think he meant an actual call from God. He was talking about a commitment. The man wasn't saying there was an angel hovering over his head talking to him."

Wow. Cruise is gone. Just gone. Notice the way he pauses between sentences? It's as if he's taking his next cue from the voices in his head.
Kinda like jp2.

Maybe someone could explain why Tom Cruise, obviously deranged, is any more a nut than any christian preacher I could turn on TV right now. Is Benny Hinn or Pat Robertson or James Dobson or James Kennedy or Tim Lahaye any less of a nut than Tom Cruise?
One thing in Toms favor is that I don't think he is using TV to promise a fake salvation if you send him some money.

Comparing James Dobson and Benny Hinn in the same sentence is insane. If you don't understand the difference between those two, you probably should recuse yourself from further commentary on the matter.

you will take the word of a Palestanian gov't official that a Bush said "Gold told me to fight in Iraq and Afghanastain", even though this same government was complicit in the assasination of a political figure three weeks ago?
Nice

Checking out Scientology beliefs I find some interesting parallels with liberalism.
Change "Scientology believes" to "liberals believe" and the statement is still true.
Once again change "Scientology" to liberalism and the statement is still true.
Again, change "Scientology" to "Liberalism" and the statement is still true.
Yes, Tom Cruise may seem "Batsh*t Crazy!", but he's not too far afield from being just another Hollywood liberal.

I watched that the other night on eBaum's World. It was 9.5 minutes of raving lunacy!
Dr. Lava, James Dobson is about the most level-headed Christian psychologist in the US. James Kennedy (RIP) was very solid in his theology and very straight-laced as well. Comparing either of them to Benny Hinn or Pat Robertson indicates that you know nothing of which you speak. Dobson does more to support traditional family values in the US than any politician. He is a strong advocate against embryonic stem-cell research, which has proved to cause only harm and not good, and speaks out about many other causes that threaten American families. Lava, you might consider a bit of research before you compare good people with wackos.

Not funny at all... It was kind of sad, actually. It seemed as if Cruise doesn't have enough of an attention span to finish a thought. It has to be a consequence of drug use earlier in his life. That, or he has chronic, severe hypoglycemia. Pathetic.
