Who is John McCain's Hispanic Outreach Director?

None other than Dr. Juan Hernandez, an open-borders, put Mexico first fanatic. He's a Texas born dual citizen who also served as Director of the Office for Mexicans Living Abroad in Vicente Fox's administration. This is one of his quotes:

"I never knew the border as a limitation. I'd be delighted if all of us could come and go between these two marvelous countries,'' Hernandez, 45, said in a recent interview. (Associated Press article, 7/14/01, found on KIRO-TV website.)

What else does he believe? Tom Tancredo retells his argument with Juan Hernandez in which Juan expresses his views of American sovereignty (via Michelle Malkin) Emphasis mine:

TANCREDO: I had a great argument one time with a gentleman by the name of Juan Hernandez who was at that time the minister of that ministry that I just mentioned, the Ministry for Mexicans Living in the United States.

And I asked him that very question. What he told me the purpose of his ministry was to push people into the United States, it was to--by the way, it was also AFC work with them so that they did--he was with the community, he said. He was three days a week in the United States, four in Mexico.

By the way, he himself is a dual citizen born in Texas, university--teaching at the University of Texas and on the Vicente Fox cabinet. And he said, "I work with the community in the United States, the Mexican community because I don't want them essentially going native on us. We want them continually tied emotionally, linguistically, politically to Mexico, because then they'll continue to send money home."

And I said to him, that does not sound like--you know, you're doing something that's actually the act of an unfriendly government.

CARLSON: Well, of course, it doesn't in any way serve American interests. It undermines our country in a pretty direct and direct and obvious way.

TANCREDO: Tucker, his response. Let me tell you his response.

CARLSON: Yes.

TANCREDO: At the end he goes, "Congressman," in an incredibly condescending way. He goes, "Congressman, it's not two countries; it's just a region."

CARLSON: That is not my view, to put it mildly.

TANCREDO: Not mine either.

The US isn't a separate nation from Mexico? What the hell is that? And McCain chose this guy to be his Hispanic outreach director. I don't like this one bit. Do we need to remind Senator McCain that he is running for president of the United States of America, not the North American region. See Hot Air, Michelle Malkin, Freedom Folks, Gateway Pundit for a lot more.

Another quote form him, via Mark Krikorian of the NRO's 'the corner' blog:

"U.S.-born dual citizen Juan Hernandez was in Fox's cabinet as Director of the Office for Mexicans Living Abroad and is notorious for having said of Mexican Americans on Nightline on June 7, 2001, "I want the third generation, the seventh generation, I want them all to think 'Mexico first.'" Does McCain agree with this? "

Indeed. Does McCain agree with him on this sentiment?

McCain must lose Florida. He must be stopped! The GOP powerbrokers getting behind this traitor to the Party and to America (his refusal to force the shut down of the Border in his state and his continual push for Amnesty) is disgraceful, but we can "deal" with them later. Their careers are finished. We need to end Psycho McCain's tomorrow--with a humiliating loss in Florida!

If you don't want McCain to win you need to vote for someone else. May I suggest Ron Paul?

See his " Border Security and Immigration Reform" plan here:

He CAN Win, *if* you vote for him.

If Mr. Hernandez thinks the US and Mexico are "just a region", then why does he want Mexican-Americans thinking Mexico first? Sure suggests that he values Mexico's sovereignty and well-being, but not that of the US.

This grinning loon who calls everyone "my friend" needs to get lost! McCain is showing his true colors again - red, white and green! If he, Obama or Hillary win the race, we may as well prepare for them to follow in Bush's footsteps. They will carry on his plan for a North American Union. We'll pay the price for everyone. I wish my grandchildren could have the world in which I grew up. It wasn't perfect, but it was OURS!!!

Hooold on a minute here. I'm going to get a job picking lettuce at fifty dollars an hour and prove Senator McCain wrong. Since he said Americans won't do the job for a half ceno an hour. But this isn't the end of my plans, oh no.
If that fails, I go to New York and take care of the golf courses for Mayor Bloomberg, because he said that if illegals got deported they golf courses would become ungolfable. Besides the pay isn't bad and I would at the same time validate my worth by being like the illegal aliens, the type of ideal American Mayor Bloomberg needs in New York.

Conclusion, it is worth it to show these "honorable" gentleman that an AMerican can be an illegal alien to.
