The day before the New Hampshire primary where she was trailing Obama and was expecting to be blown out, Hillary magically turned on the emotion. The following day - shazam! - she won New Hampshire because enough Democratic voters actually thought the tears were sincere. Now we're less than 24 hours away from the all important Super Tuesday where she's again in the race of her political life, and low and behold, she tears up again. Gah.
Sen. Hillary Clinton teared up this morning at an event at the Yale Child Study Center, where she worked while in law school in the early 1970s.Penn Rhodeen, who was introducing Clinton, began to choke up, leading Clinton's eyes to fill with tears, which she wiped out of her left eye. At the time, Rhodeen was saying how proud he was that sheepskin-coat, bell-bottom-wearing young woman he met in 1972 was now running for president.
"Well, I said I would not tear up; already we're not exactly on the path," Clinton said with emotion after the introduction.
If the Democratic base buys this tripe again, they will prove themselves to be the stupidest, most gullible group of morons known to man.
How come Hillary only cries when it's about her? In New Hampshire she gets asked, "how do you do it, how are you so wonderful," and she cries. Now it's "look at our little girl, all grown up" and she cries. Never for anyone else. The tears are always for her, and always just before a primary that looks iffy.
How offensive and insulting that she thinks she can manipulate people like this.
She might as well have been wearing a neon sign over her head saying "Women voters, look here for empathy and new, improved, life-like feelings!" I say the tears are just like a talking point; she keeps repeating them for newcomers to the race.
Bingo!

Certainly we can call the Hilldabeest's actions here "offensive and insulting" but they have a history of working. If this tactic ends up carrying the day why should we blame the candidate for successfully playing the public like a cheap guitar? Only Joe Public is to blame in that case, not the candidate. We (yes, "we the people" and there's no sidestepping that) will have only gotten what we deserve.

Odd how the tears seem to come when the poll numbers drop. If she ever had to suffer Bush's approval ratings, she'd be blubbering incoherently.

Strange with all that's been happening since Bush took office how Hillary hasn't choked up when in public giving speeches. Only when she lost Iowa and now before super Tuesday. Those who buy into this a second time deserve to have both the Clintons as your next president. I say enough of the dynasties. Let's turn the page and get rid of the corruption that has ruled the White House for the past 2 decades or more.

Hillary won NH only after a few thousand "motor voters" drove over the Massachusetts border. I'm not sure the blubbering was a factor. What a great feminist role model, though. Things get tough so she bursts into tears and has her husband fix it.
