One of the many issues on which John McCain is hiding his plans from the American people in is regards to Social Security. It's an important issue to a lot of people.... a lot of Americans are counting on Social Security being there for them when they retire.

Seems that the McCain campaign folks never bothered to license the music they were illegally exploiting for free featuring in the videos. Updated and Bumped: They did it again - the second time in two weeks. Apparently copyright laws are among the laws easily ignored by the McCain camp. Third Update: They did it again and now they're being sued.

DJ, maybe you should head back to Polipundit. Your insults would fit in with the mean spirit over there.

I take you support McCain/Huckabee/Hillary/Obama, Adrian. If so, can you make a case for your candidate? One which demonstrates why, exactly, anyone should trust them with the nation's course?

This is a very weak presidential cycle. I have more negatives on all of them then positives. That is pathetic. The race is down to money only. Whoever raises it and spends it gets it. ww

Money? Then Romney should have won, right?
I think it was something else. Not sure exactly, though I do think the GOP screwed themselves by copying the Donks's front-loaded primary scheme, and by making caucuses and open primaries the earliest tests.

DJ, I meant at this point it is all about money. McCain has a better chance at raising money at this point, while Hillary and Obama are still splitting their contributors.
The primary system needs to be addressed. There is no logic behind letting just a few states pick candidates for the rest of the country. ww

In the Chinese astrological system, it's the year of birth that is determinative, not necessarily the year you are currently in.
McCain: 1936 - Rat
Huckabee: 1955 - Sheep
Clinton: 1947 - Pig
Obama: 1961 - Ox
Beyond the humor inherent in the above, one can read the historical Chinese depictions of these zodiac-like signs and find interesting similarities to the candidates. Of course, one will also find discrepancies, as with all astrological mumbo-jumbo silliness. Still it is amusing to some degree...
