Just as God issued his Ten Commandments, the new savior of our souls, the Obamamessiah, has issued his first commandment through his wife, Michelle.
From Hot Air:
Barack Obama will require you to work. He is going to demand that you shed your cynicism. That you put down your divisions. That you come out of your isolation, that you move out of your comfort zones. That you push yourselves to be better. And that you engage. Barack will never allow you to go back to your lives as usual, uninvolved, uninformed.
And we on the Right are the fascists?! Puh-lease.
But hey, it looks like the Obamamessiah and his wife have found exactly what it is that will save our souls!
He is going to force all of us to work -- and give 80% of our hard-earned money from all of that working to the government, of course. He is going to force all of us to become de-isolated -- and finally embrace the superior wisdom of the globalists in Europe and at the UN, of course. We must shed our cynicism -- there's too many of us who aren't buying into his empty speeches filled with empty promises, and it's our fault because we're just too gosh darn cynical! With the Obamamessiah as President, our lives will change forever all right, whether we like it or not, and it'll be the changes that he thinks we need to make.
OK, sarcasm off now.
At what point is the Obama campaign going to realize that they need to shut this woman up. It's just gaffe after gaffe after gaffe. And the comments she's been making show her to be quite an ugly mix of Teresa Heinz Kerry (downright stupidity), John Edwards (promising everything in the world to get elected), and some sort of weird cross of Lenin and Hitler (see quote above). So honestly, at what point does Obama realize that he needs to get his wife to keep her damn mouth shut? And at what point do people start actually listening to what is coming out of her mouth and start thinking about exactly what kind of President and First Lady these two would be?

Well, they'd have to hear what she's saying first. And, as the MRC is reporting, the nets are pretty much spiking any of her disturbing comments.
So, to answer your question, as long as the liberal end of the media spectrum is essentially stuffing a sock in her mouth, no one not at her actual appearances ever hear any of it. It's all well and good for those plugged into political blogs to know what these people are actually saying, but many millions more still listen to Katie and pals and they never mention this stuff.

Obama's International Socialist Connections
Campaign workers for Senator and presidential candidate Barack Obama are under fire for displaying a flag featuring communist hero Che Guevara. But Obama has his own controversial socialist connections. He is, in fact, an associate of a Chicago-based Marxist group with access to millions of labor union dollars and connections to expert political consultants, including a convicted swindler.
Obama's socialist backing goes back at least to 1996, when he received the endorsement of the Chicago branch of the Democratic Socialists of America (DSA) for an Illinois state senate seat. Later, the Chicago DSA newsletter reported that Obama, as a state senator, showed up to eulogize Saul Mendelson, one of the "champions" of "Chicago's democratic left" and a long-time socialist activist. Obama's stint as a "community organizer" in Chicago has gotten some attention, but his relationship with the DSA socialists, who groomed and backed him, has been generally ignored.

So now they need Obamamessiah to bring about their liberal socialist utopia. This explains why Obama didn't wear a flag pin and didn't salute the flag. Michelle simply spoke the truth about liberal mind-set: America is a rotten country and the source of all the problems in the world. Communism is what they want. Just look at how the left excuses and adores Castro.
THe liberal left needs a performance artist to hide their extremist liberal agenda from American people. That 's the reason why they cannot be honest about who they are and what their agenda is.

We'll see change alright, but not the kind most people are going to like. An Obama presidency will make Jimmy Carter's look like a shining example of world class leadership.
The conservatives who disagree with me seem to fear one of two things. They fear Obama will do irreparable damage to the U.S. or they fear he'll actually do a passable job.

You don't see Democratic Socialist of America endorsing McCain for example. Their support was crucial for his early political career in Illinois. Also just look at his actions and his records: he didn't salute the flag, didn't wear flag pin ... He is rated #1 liberal in the Senate, even beating Bernie Sanders (the known socialist from Vermont). All the facts consistently point to his socialist thinking and agenda. You can support him but at least be honest about the extremist liberal agenda you are supporting.

America is a rotten country and the source of all the problems in the world.
LAI:
I really love your cardboard cutout versions of the "liberal" agenda. Very informative.
Anybody who goes around arguing that "America is a rotten country and the source of all the problems in the world" has a very limited and oversimplified view of world history and politics. Anybody who makes such sweeping claims needs to spend a little time reading and the studying the complex histories of this 232 year old nation. Indeed, the USA has not been a perfect nation; it has committed its fair share of blunders and transgressions--as have so many other nations. But there has also been a great deal of innovation and revolution that has been achieved here.
Damn that history and its complications!
It's amazing and difficult to reconcile, the fact that the same nation that produced the Declaration of Independence is the same nation that exterminated so many of its indigenous peoples. But that's our history.
Communism is what they want. Just look at how the left excuses and adores Castro.
Interesting that you know exactly what the American left is all about. I will call you next time I am wondering what THEY are thinking or wanting...
/sarcasm
The biggest mistake that people make, IMO, is assuming that opposing political ideologies, such as that of Castro, are necessarily better than the dominant ideology under which they live.
That is, clearly, not the case.
Some American liberals do make the mistake of lionizing the likes of Castro and Guevara, without taking the time to really study what those leaders really stood for. If they actually did their homework, or looked into them a little, they might change their minds.
I do agree that out current political system could use some work (a great deal in many facets), but I do not agree with the idea that we should look to the likes of Fidel Castro for inspiration. That's the LAST place we should be looing, IMO.
