The Knucklehead of the Day award

Today's winner is Michael Drennon. He gets the award for the following.

Drennon robbed Bensalem Bank on October 17, 2005, passing the teller a handwritten note made out on the back of a pay stub bearing his name. He was arrested shortly thereafter.
Using a old pay stub for a holdup note. That's classic but at least he was recycling as this blogger notes.

Mr. Drennon was appealing his conviction, which he lost. There will no appeal of my decision, I name Michael Drennon today's Knucklehead of the Day.

Given the fact that bank robbery is reported to have one of the lowest "success rates" and highest "apprehension rates" of any crime, that tells you that most people pulling bank jobs weren't likely candidates for gifted and talented programs when they were in school... if you know that I mean!
