Good Saturday Morning! Round up.

A little light reading to go with your Saturday morning coffee.

  • How Soon We Forget February 26th was the 15th anniversary of the bombing of the World Trade Center parking garage. Seven Americans were murdered (including an unborn baby carried by one of the adult victims). Over 1,000 were injured. (Via Something and Half of Something)

  • France to the Rescue? France may send hundreds of ground troops to east Afghanistan where NATO-led forces are fighting al Qaeda-backed insurgents, Le Monde newspaper reported on Tuesday. (Via CQ)

  • Repeat of 9/11 Brewing Thousands of foreign student pilots have been able to enroll and obtain pilot licenses from U.S. flight schools, despite tough laws passed in the wake of the 9/ll attacks, according to internal government documents obtained by ABC News. (Via ABC News)

  • Great Taste! Less Filling! Anyone remember that commercial? These two took it to a new low only they were arguing over which was the better democrat candidate. Obama or Clinton. (Via Six Meat Buffet)

  • God is a Liberal? Who Knew?Christian socialists claim God has turned left. How do they know this? Did they ask? Receive a vision? Inquiring minds wanna know. (Via Faultline USA)

  • 7th Century Meets 21st Century Technology It happens every day on the streets of Tehran: a police squad grabbed a young woman for dressing immodestly. But this time, the young woman fought back, and a crowd defended her and attacked the police. Thanks to cell phone video, the internet, and brave Iranian citizen reporters, Ardeshir Arian is able to tell the story. (Via Pajamas Media)

  • Hey! Here's a New Way To Attract Visitors No wonder even Saudi citizens are laughing at their government. Here's an official plan submitted to invigorate tourism in Saudi Arabia: Marry four women, domicile them in corners of the kingdom, travel to visit each during the year, and -- boom -- you've stimulated airline business, hotel occupancy, and car rentals. This was submitted by none less than Hassan Alomair, director of self-development in Saudi Arabia, at a Jeddah conference for the development of internal tourism. (Via Pajamas Media)

  • Grant Funding Supercedes Truth Flush with success in creating an atom bomb, the U.S. federal government decided it should start funding nonmilitary scientific research. A government report titled "Science, the Endless Frontier" provides the justification for doing this. It makes the case that "science is the responsibility of government because new scientific knowledge vitally affects our health, our jobs, and our national security" (Via Flopping Aces )

  • Do The Math Marc Ambinder takes a look at delegate counts. (Via Marc Ambinder)

  • Send In The Marines Awww, Code Pink is spit upon at Berkely, who do they want to rescue them? You guessed it, she sidled up to a marine for protection. It doesn't get any weirder than this. (Via Sister Toldjah)

  • He's baaack Someone let him loose and his off his meds. (Via Sister Toldjah)

I guess Howard Dean forgot what 1850's Republican platforms were all about.

Or what party they were opposing that wanted to support slavery.

Oh cry me a bucket of tears. If I was that marine, I would have told her "tough titty sister". She stepped in it and now she will have to just live with it. As the old saying goes "What goes around comes around" and she has spit on the people that she did not agree with many times with impunity. Now that shoe is on the other foot, she cries foul. Now she wants the help and protection from the very outfit she despises and wants to throw out. Typical left wing moonbat.
