How quickly do you think he'll put out an apology for this display of asshattery?
Check out Good Morning America co-host Chris Cuomo saying that Prince Harry was in Afghanistan because he's "expendable":
Did your jaw drop watching that? Mine sure did.
So what does this mean? That unless you're second in line to become a King, that you mean nothing? What a huge slap in the face to service members everywhere. Hey, guess what guys? According to the GMA co-host, you're serving overseas because you're expendable! It doesn't matter if you die!
What a piece of shit that Chris Cuomo is.
I know, I know, most liberals look down their noses at our service members, but all the same... keep your dirty thoughts to yourself, would you?
And as far as Prince Harry is concerned... the rest of us sane people salute you. I personally find his story to be one of incredible courage and selflessness, and I think what he did was incredibly admirable, until someone had to go mess it up (way to go, Drudge).
And no, Chris "Douchebag" Cuomo. No servicemember is "expendable" just because they aren't next in line to a throne, or wealthy, or powerful, or whatever it is that makes you think someone is inexpendable. But I can tell you one thing right now -- each and every member of our military is more important, and more admirable, than you are and ever will be. You're just an MSM peon; you don't deserve to lick their boots.

Cassie,
I am not disagreeing with you that Chris Cuomo is an idiot. I am not disagreeing with you that every service member's life is precious. As a former sailor, however, I must disagree with you. My life was expendable. If it kept my shipmates alive for another hour, another day, another week, if they went home and I died so that they could, then it would have been worth it. I honor the memory of all those men before me who were expendable, who were worth more dead than alive.

Guess that would make Prince Harry Royal Cannon Fodder? They might not be perfect, but the Royal Family does have a history of honorably and actively serving in the military to include real missions during real combat. Guess Chris Cuomo should brush up on his recent history.
Now if we could just get our politicians to send their children.

Yeah, can't wait till Obama's kids get drafted, right Matt? Oh, wait... HE is exempt, isn't he?
Oddly enough - we don't have a draft, and parents can't FORCE their kids to go. Family tradition is something else - and as YOU point out the Royals have a tradition of doing that.

This simply proves that BDS is becoming total insanity really fast. Someone had better get on the ball and let some major contracts for constuction of hundreds of mental facilities. The real ones with no windows and rubber walls. Millions of democrats are proving daily that they will be needed. Just like President Bush said today, "he will be in Crawford Tx come Jan". The democrat crazies will get even crazier then. Harry will be proud of his accomplishments and Cuomo will still be a pitiful coward and an idiot.

"They Were Expendable" was a film about American sailors in World War II, directed by John Ford, and starring none other than John Wayne. Theater-goers at the time viewed the movie as depicting valiant, self-sacrificing heroism, but Cassy envisions a new kind of military for the present day, one in which individuals supersede the goals of the nation. Neither Jenna nor Barbara Bush view themselves as "expendable," so they're on board, as are the rest of you, chickenhawks.

Isn't that just special. One more example of the deep and undying respect the left has for our military.I wore the uniform with PRIDE, and i feel that same pride seeing the young men and women serving today. ALL of them, in whatever capacity they serve in,deserve to be honored for that service, not defiled in this manner.

I'm no means trying to defend Cuomo's insensitivity, but I believe even some of Royal family refer to William and Harry as "the heir and the spare".
I know about his Democratic grandee family but don't know how left Cuomo is? He was an analyst for Fox News for a couple of years. I just assume that like most TV presenters he will make any cheap comment to raise a giggle, no matter what the subject.

And can we all agree to a moratorium on the term "asshat?" It was clever for about a week in 2002. Now it just demonstrates a total lack of imagination.
