"They're trying to fool you. They're trying to scare you and they're not telling the truth," a fired-up Obama declared while campaigning in South Dakota. "But it's not going to work. Both Bush and McCain represent the failed foreign policy and fear mongering of the past," Obama said. "I believe the American people are ready to reject this approach and to choose the future."

"I'm a diplomat, but I'm not a compromiser . . . "
Heavy stuff. You have to get about 2:40 or so in to find out the guy is a Clinton supporter . . . who knew?

Sure, this pastor is a bit over the top, but I checked out some other videos of him on YouTube, and the guy does have a very constructive message.
He detests the likes of Farrakhan, Jesse Jackson, Al Sharpton and Charlie Rangel, et al.
Check out these examples:
Sermon about Hurricane Katrina. Wait until about 3 minutes in for the crux of the message gets going. He not only does NOT blame Bush, he says he admires him.

I do not think you can forgive him for criticizing Obama's parentage. It is not Obama's fault what for what his parents did. Sitting for 20 years in Wright's church without a peep, now he can be blamed for that.
Also, I missed when Bill Clintom reached in his pocket and pulled out $250 M to give to the black community in Harlem. I don't know, perhaps he reached into our pockets for the money???

Patriotism has many definitions and IT can be performed in many ways. But, when it comes to Senator Obama, I can only think of him AS BEING UNPATRIOTICS! Why would Senator Obama in his own right mind would allow his wife to make anti-American comments such as that she was embarrassed to be an American. Why would he support several anti-American Churches that preach our nation's destruction? Is that his way of proving that he's patriotic? Why did it take Obama over a month to finally say something about his pastor? That means HE support HIS pastor''s RACIAL and REVOLUTIONARY statements of overthrowing America. Why donate all that money to a cause if he doesn''t believe in it? Why is Senator Obama lying to America? His actions are really not showing any change when he has been intentionally misleading the American people and lying about what he really stands for. He has said nothing about the Chinese murdering in Tibet so what does he actually stand for?

I can only openly laugh out loud about this here on Wizbang with you all because I know and love people who are Democrats. Some of them are family members and some of them are church friends. I would guesstimate that people I go to church with are split about 50/50 between the GOP and DNC. Therefore, I try to hold my tongue around them. I would tell you they've not always done the same out of respect for my conservative leanings. However, for the first time this year I have heard sworn Democrats say they'd vote for McCain. I was shocked! I was pleasantly shocked earlier on when we both agreed that we'd rather have Huckabee, but hey, I'll take whatever coming together I can get from them.
I have to hold my sides because they hurt from laughing so much from watching the dis-a-thon between the Clinton and Obama camps. I know I shouldn't. It's wrong, but it's so much like an SNL skit how could I not.
