Here's your video of the day -- from the story Jay posted about earlier. It's of Hillary and Chelsea Clinton's death-defying run across the tarmac in Tuzla, Bosnia, fleeing from the terrifying shots of sniper fire all around them!
Did that look terrifying or death-defying to anyone?
Anyone at all?
C'mon, Hillary, you're supposed to be one of the smartest, most ruthless politicians out there! I'm getting disappointed here.
First of all, of all the trips overseas she may have taken, why on Earth would she choose to lie about a trip on which a CBS news crew and two celebrities accompanied her? I mean, jeez, woman, at least pick a trip in which it isn't so easy for people to prove that you're an incredible liar.
Second, she talks about how she was sent on trips that were too dangerous for the President to go on. If that was the case, then why would she bring her daughter along? Obviously, she wasn't being sent anywhere with that high of a danger level -- either that, or she's the world's worst parent with absolutely no concern for her daughter's well-being, if she's willing to bring her daughter with her to these danger zones.
Third, it's disturbing watching her lie so smoothly. It isn't surprising in the least, but it is unsettling. She doesn't even flinch. Lying, to her, comes as naturally as breathing. It's the entire foundation of the Clinton administration.
I know she wants to psych up her "experience" because, you know, she has none, but isn't she at least smart enough to make up credible stories?
No?
Oh well.
Keep on talking, Hillary, sweetie. The Vast Right Wing Conspiracy is loving this! You go, girl!

Oh how the mighty have fallen!
A couple of years ago, the MSM would have spiked any story which would have shown Hillary in a bad light.
But even since Chrissy Matthews got that thrill up his leg thanks to Obama, Hillary has been fair game.

I think the Clintons don't believe they'll be caught in their "fibs" because they were the Darlings of a fawning press not that long ago. Now the fawning has moved on to Obama, and it must really smart the Clintons to know that the media no longer has their back!

I'm willing to cut Hillary a little slack here as she may not have benen lying. This might have been just one more example of her really, really bad memory.
Proof of this is all those hundreds of times, while she was testifying under oath, that she answered "I don't remember", or "I don't recall"

I think we should leave this one alone. After all, the MSM is running with this.
To get out of this, all she has to do is come up with proof that she was under potential sniper fire somewhere when she landed during the eight years she was globetrotting as first lady. Is it possible that she was under fire, and rushed into a waiting car somewhere, at sometime while she was first lady? Would that be any kind of qualification, even if it were true? It doesn't speak to bravery or ability, it just says she flew alot, which as I remember was absolutely true.
All she has to say is "oh yeah, it was not Bosnia, it was somewhere else". As a matter of fact, if she could prove that she was under sniper fire in a couple of different places, she gains and everybody who accused her of lying looks bad.
For some bizarre reason, it looks like the MSM is doing some of the lifting here, and not just looking the other way. As long as the story is in the mainstream press, we should just see where it goes, and not try to make hay at the risk of having it backfire.

It all depends on what your definition of "sniping" is. If she was referring to The Vast Right-Wing Conspiracy "sniping" at her about her various scandals, then yes, she may have been "under fire" in that time frame. :D

The only reason the MSM is running with this is that Obama has now become their choice, and like candidates from previous campaigns, the MSM will do anything to destroy their perceived 'enemy'...Even when it exposes their obvious hypocrisy regarding the Clintons.

Those wise enough to check our Politics page saw it yesterday.
There are several possible explanations. Hillary may have been trying to inspire others with her fierce courage under fire. Maybe Bosnian snipers used silencers - did you think of that?
Or, it could have just been a case of miscommunication when her staff was informed that a snipe hunt might be going on when they landed.

She is simply a mediocre politician and lawyer. If she hadn't married Bill, she'd never get a sniff of political office. And if she hadn't married him, she'd be working as low level corporate attorney since she's not even good enough to be an average junior lawyer at any law firm.
She's so far out of her league in terms of her actual abilities it's stunning.
