Republicans have made fundamentally wrong choices for America, and instead embarked on a self-serving, morally righteous crusade that has touched and tainted everything from the Justice Department's US Attorney scandal, to the Iraq march to war and subsequent attempts to involve Iran as a part of a religious imperative to rid the world of Islam. Now it's time to pay the piper...

I hit on this a few days ago in a post titled "McCain's Dirty Little Money Secrets", and now a defiant and arrogant Cindy McCain is back in the news this morning, and once again its news of her own making. She's the kind of trouble John McCain just doesn't need -- but as far as I can see McCain has no chance of keeping a lid on the problems she will create for his candidacy.

Still completely unmemorable for me to even bother knowing who is who. I've actually removed Idol from my Tivo now. It's just sucking to a whole new level.

I'd put david in the top three and carly in the bottom three this week. I'm sure the judges know what they are talking about with her singing, but I found her pretty boring and forgettable (As simon says).
So i'd put three guys in the top this week, David C, then David A, then Michael. Middle three i'd say were Brooke, Jason and Kristy. Final three were Carly, Syesha and Ramiele.
I think the top three might be David A, David C and Brooke. Carly is a better singer but not as pretty and not as charismatic, nor as all around talented as Brooke.

Agree with Baggi, except I'd rate Carly above Brooke (but then, I'm a sucker for an Irish accent on a gal).

I generally like your top 3 all the time. Most disconcerting to me is Simon's preference for tarts and tart performances. Been a big Simon fan but when he doesn't know that the Beatles "Michelle" has French in it, when he doesn't understand Paul hated "Long and Winding Road" done as a sappy love song and when he doesn't know that "that weird violin instrument" is actually called a fiddle in country music then he lacks any depth I thought he had.
Guess randy is the rocker on that panel

I agree Ramielle was awful and should go after weeks of poor performances, but she has a huge following among Asian-Americans and gets a huge vote bump on the west coast. I actually think Kristy might be in trouble; I thought she sung well. But, its was a country night and people might assume she would be safe and not vote. Also, the other contenders for the bottom spot like Ramielle and Jason have good bases of support. jason was in the bottom last week and I think the girls will save him. Syesha would normally be in Whitney trouble, but with Cheikzie leaving last week she might get a solid number of his votes.
Brooke and Carly could also be in some trouble, mainly Brooke because of getting the opening spot.
