Here's a link to a transcript of their remarks at the White House's welcoming ceremony.

For my money the best quote from the president was:
In a world where some no longer believe that we can distinguish between simple right and wrong, we need your message to reject this 'dictatorship of relativism,' and embrace a culture of justice and truth.
Now, that's a statement with which any real conservative -- Catholic, Protestant, Jewish, Hindu, Buddhist, agnostic or atheist, etc. -- strongly can agree.
My favorite part of the Pope's remarks:
[F]reedom is ever new. It is a challenge held out to each generation, and it must constantly be won over for the cause of good. Few have understood this as clearly as the late Pope John Paul II. In reflecting on the spiritual victory of freedom over totalitarianism in his native Poland and in Eastern Europe, he reminded us that history shows time and again that 'in a world without truth, freedom loses its foundation,' and a democracy without values can lose its very soul.
For those readers too young or too indoctrinated to know what a crucial role Pope John Paul II played in the necessary evisceration of Soviet-style leftism -- along with Reagan, Thatcher, Walesa and Mulroney, of course -- it's worth an independent study outside the sphere of leftist academia and the liberal media. It might just be the most daring post-WWII geopolitical story ever told.

That's good to hear. Because the Pope's "message" is:
So let's hear all the real conservatives get behind that message!

Wow, that's a pretty good trick, considering the population of Iraq is 25M. Although 134M Americans might agree with the Pope. So if you're going to base it on the numbers, who are you going to listen to? 15M non-existent Iraqis, or 134M Americans?
Anyway, it doesn't matter. Jayson says conservatives should be behind the Pope's message, regardless of what the imaginary Iraqis think.

From the dawn of the Republic, America's quest for freedom has been guided by the conviction that the principles governing political and social life are intimately linked to a moral order based on the dominion of God the Creator. The framers of this nation's founding documents drew upon this conviction when they proclaimed the self-evident truth that all men are created equal and endowed with inalienable rights grounded in the laws of nature and of nature's God.
... God bless America.

This "God" you reference, is it the "other Father" Bush sought guidance from when he invaded Iraq?
If your imaginary friend "God" did maintain a "moral order" was it his advice to lie about aluminum tubes and mobile chemical weapons labs? Or was it Cheney who pulled these lies directly from his ass?

You do realize that the pederast Cardinal Law is now in charge of the Curia's Pontifical Council for the Family...don't you? (Of course you don't.)
Meanwhile Bush promotes the Man in the Red Prada Shoes* to "Our(sic) Holy Father(sic)".

Oh, yes Obama does need the Kool-Aid drinkers to spin for him that he chose to attend Wright 's church for 20 years and embrace Wright as a mentor without embracing his view. We all know that Obama can "spin" as well as Bill Clinton and his Kool-Aid drinkers will happily do the work for him as they have done for Bill Clinton.
The contrast betweenn the love for America displayed for America clearly contrast with the view of Michelle, Obama, and Wright. But we that which view the Kool-Aid drinkers agree with.
