Remember Ian Murphy, the shithead who had such horrible things to say about our troops? You know, this stuff:
So, 4000 rubes are dead. Cry me the Tigris. Another 30,000 have been seriously wounded. Boo fucking hoo. They got what they asked for--and cool robotic limbs, too.Likely, just reading the above paragraph made you uncomfortable. But why?
The benevolence of America's "troops" is sacrosanct. Questioning their rectitude simply isn't done. It's the forbidden zone. We may rail against this tragic war, but our soldiers are lauded by all as saints. Why? They volunteered to partake in this savage idiocy, and for this they deserve our utmost respect? I think not.
The nearly two-thirds of us who know this war is bullshit need to stop sucking off the troops. They get enough action raping female soldiers and sodomizing Iraqi detainees. The political left is intent on "supporting" the troops by bringing them home, which is a good thing. But after rightly denouncing the administration's lies and condemning this awful war, relatively sensible pundits--like Keith Olbermann--turn around and lovingly praise the soldiers' brave service to the country.
Ian writes for a lovely rag called the Buffalo Beast. I opened my e-mail today and saw the following comment submitted for approval at Wizbang by the Beast's editor, Paul Fallon:
Just so none of you feel you got the wrong dude, the guy in the photo thatMac Lorry posted, is me but the phone number is wrong, so if you call that# you'll be harassing the wrong person. I am the publisher of The Beast. Idon't hide behind screen names like most of you pussies. The dumbmotherfuckers in this country have no conception of how close they are tobecoming the next Gestapo or Hitler youth. Then I suppose the Nazissupported the troops too. If you want to kick my ass drop me an email. Iwas in the military but I was a medic so maybe I'm not so tough. That virusshit is bogus. Watch for a counter-attack soon.
He's referring to one of Wizbang's commenters, Mac Lorry, who published contact information from the Beast's public domain.
Of course, he goes straight for the liberal talking point of how we're THISCLOSE to being herded like cattle into railcars headed straight for concentration camps, all for disagreeing with Chimpy McHitlerburton!! Apparently, if you support the troops, that makes you a Nazi!!
Gee, that's an insult conservatives have never heard. Do liberal have no imagination, no creativity? Sheesh.
Whether or not the virus part is true, the "counter-attack" threat is interesting. What, pray tell, could he have planned for us?? I'll be busy shivering in my socks and pajamas. In the meantime, someone let me know when this douche comes up with an original idea. I won't hold my breath.

I suspect we heard from Pall Fallon because he is getting some heat over the contents of his web site. The phone number I posted is what's listed in the domain registration. Anyone can check by doing an whois. If that's not Fallon's correct number, then he's in violation of registration requirements. Yes, that number is also used by various Deomcratic Underground operatives, so it's likely answered by some secretary who's under orders not to give out any other information. No point calling it then.
Yes I hide behind a screen name. Paul Fallon doesn't feel the need and even confirms the photo of him is correct. Yet he posts the Islam insulting cartoons that have already cost other's their lives. Paul's either very brave or very stupid in that regard. As for his politics, I find them naïve and borderline psychotic.

The DemocraticUnderground is a web site. You'll find the phone number Fallon uses in his blog domain's registration listed on this page. You'll also find that number and the address Fallon uses in his blog domain's registration listed on this page. Fallon has connections with New York Civil Liberties Union as you'll see on this page. This can all be found using Google.
Fallon says that number is not his. It's likely a number for New York Civil Liberties Union or some other organization Fallon has connections with. If they are getting phone calls because of the contents of Fallon's blog, it's Fallon's fault for using their phone number for his blog's domain registration. If Fallon is concerned about people calling that phone number he can change his blog's domain registration at any time. He can also have the registration information hidden for less than $10 per year.
Yes, the cat is out of the bag, so to speak, but that's Fallon's fault for not using his own information when he registered his blog's domain, or for not spending a few bucks to have the inaccurate information at least hidden from the public.

The Regional Director of the New York Civil Liberties Union has such an associate with Paul Fallon as can be seen on this page. Does John A. Curr III share Paul Fallon's views? Does the membership of the New York Civil Liberties Union share Paul Fallon's views? Maybe someone will put the question to them.

Finally, a guy (Murphy) comes along and writes a bold article telling the truth: soldiers are NOT better than anyone else (except for, of course, chickenhawks).
Mr. Murphy should have conceded, though, that some of the soldiers were enlisted BEFORE Bush started the wasteful Iraq war. Many of these did not "volunteer to partake in this savage idiocy."
Regardless of the time of enlistment, though, Mr. Fallon does correctly observe that the soldiers do not deserve our "utmost respect." Give no such respect to those who accept being mere pawns in Bush's deceitful, imperialistic game.

Herman,
Here's a post I wrote for another, but it's applicable here as well. The question for you is, where did our founding fathers go wrong in their design for this nation? What would you do that would be better? If you are serious about your position then you should have good answers to such questions. Well, at least debatable answers. Otherwise, I can only assume your postion is the result of BDS.
