True Crime?

I've gotten two articles out of the scumbag Tom Matzzie and his "Accountable America," and I'm pretty proud of them. In them, I identified several areas where I believed that it was very likely that Mr. Matzzie and his associates (if he has any, and I have my doubts) at AA were running the risk of breaking several laws with their little scare letter.

Well, I'm not a lawyer. But other people are. Other people know the letter of the law far, far better than I do. And they've found a few laws that they think apply quite clearly to AA's actions.

Laws such as the "Ku Klux Klan" law.

That one tickles me a bit, to steal the words of the inimitable Captain Reynolds. Throughout nearly its entire existence, especially during the heights of its power, the Ku Klux Klan stood solidly with the Democratic party. Now to see a law crafted specifically to go after their brand of thuggery -- which is not that different from what Mr. Matzzie is doing today.

As I noted before, Mr. Matzzie has a rather extensive history in democratic and progressive circles. Very few of his ideological comrades are talking very much about what he's up to currently, either to defend him or distance themselves from him.

That's fine with me. There's nothing that compels them to speak up on every -- well, I hate to repeat myself, but "pig-fucker" fits him so thoroughly -- that comes down the pike who happens to share some of their agenda.

But the really telling thing will be to follow Mr. Matzzie's future endeavors. As he's shown in the past, he bounces from group to group, cause to cause. I suspect this "Accountable America" group will fold up in less than six months, and he'll find some new groups.

Those groups will bear watching, and no one should ever let them bury what Mr. Matzzie is doing today.

GarandFan:

Matzzie's "groups" probably last long enough to:
1) attrack donors with money
2) collect said money
3) trasfer said money to Mattzzie
4) move on to form another group

He certainly doesn't look like he's starving....or even working very hard.

How do walking crap-piles like Mr. Mattzie make a living? Who pays him to be a jerk and not do real work like process loans or clean toilets? The world's seemingly filled with people who don't have actual jobs yet they appear to have a place to live and food to eat. Is it Uncle Soros?

GarandFan, you beat me to it. Someone is funding and feeding the pig. He is either ripping off donations or has a rich grandma locked in the basement and is ripping off her bank account and SS checks to feed his 10 Pizza a day habit.

Please keep in mind the type of Southern Democrats that supported the KKK and racial status quo have almost always been Democrats in name only who have voted solidly with the Republican party for fifty or more years. These Southern Democrats are not likely to ever vote for Obama or an actual Democrat.

Waddayknow, I don't think you know what you are talking about. The Democrat party controlled the entire South from Reconstruction until the 1970's when the South began turning Republican. In 2002, Georgia elected its first Republican governor since the 1870's.

The South today is more diverse politically between Republicans and Democrats than the North East which is monolithically Democrat.

Check out some of Matzzies writings at HuffPo to get a feel for just how warped this individual is. Just about everything he writes is just oozing with paranoid conspiracy theory about Bush, Rove and Co. manipulating world events to their own personal and/or collective gain.

Bring it on, Tom. This is going to be more fun to watch than a demolition derby.

I think your comment calling him a "pig-fucker" is unfair.

Pig-fuckers never tried to suppress someone else's freedom of speech, tried to use the investigative power of the legislature to fuck over political opponents, or criminalize policy disagreements.

Pig-fuckers just want to be left alone to enjoy sweet lovin' with their sow (or boar) of choice. In comparison with Mr. Mattzie, Pig-fuckers are a much better class of people.

Jay Tea, please be advised: I have no problem with your use of the term "pig fucker" in relation to these scumbags, however, the phrase "ignorant pig fucker" is a trademark of mine from way back. In fact, the Ignorant Pig Fuckers List is the very list from which I derive my handle.

Thanks in advance,

The Listkeeper.
