Has anyone figured out why these folks are protesting at the Dem Convention rather than the Republican Convention? Seems their gripe would be with Republicans, not with the Dems. It makes no sense. I know, I know, that's their MO, but do you think anyone has ever explained the term 'tactics' to these people?

Could it possibly be because they aren't accustomed to being questioned and asked to express in detail what they stand for? Chanting easy-to-remember slogans is simple. Actually expressing coherent and intelligent thought is not quite as simple.

Why protest at the Dem convention?

They are in Denver training to protest in St. Paul. What they don't realized is that the local population if further to the left then they are and will likely see them as conservative Bush lapdogs. You have to remember that St. Paul is the first place in American to elect a Muslim to Congress. How lefty is that?
