I did watch the whole video (Vodkapundit was awesome), and what I saw was a bunch of bigger taller intimidating white guys attempting to bully a small petite asian woman. Any other observer might conclude a bit of racism being involved here.

Michelle, yes, is despised by leftists, for obvious reasons; she's on FOX. Notice that there are anywhere from two to four people shouting behind Alex Jones "Kill Michelle Malkin". Does this mean that they are with him OR they are "truthers" just by virtue of standing behind him and shouting Kill Michelle Malkin? Do your own research, and watch the multiple different versions of the same account.

What would be the most beneficial for all establishment parties, the media, the government, etc, is any violent riot that could occur for any reason, so it would be of little wonder that they might be trying to cause it. Recreate '68 indeed...

As far as my personal judgment goes, which is beyond what I just see on television, this seems like a perfect way to discredit other legitimate groups, by using outside controlled sources, such as the leftist movements, to quell any real dissent.

I watched the whole video, Brian.

From the video I watched, I could not accurately state that Malkin was never touched by one of the protesters. By "touched", I mean spit at, bumped, elbowed, etc.

If we assume (and your comment is just an assumption) that she wasn't phsically touched that does not rule out the laws broken by the threats of physical harm made against her by more than one person. Two guys (your words) weren't going to hold back the whole crowd if they wanted to act on the threats that many different people made. ("Kill Michele Malkin" wasn't actually said by the loudmouth as far as I call tell, but it was said by several other people.)

Also, if they physically prevented her from movement in the direction she wanted to go - which did appear to be the case in several parts of the video - then additional laws were possibly broken. These individuals were not the police and had no legal right to force her out of the area.

Michelle Malkin is an opinionated woman, but, there is no evidence, on the video, that she did anything but stand there and take pictures yesterday. She is allowed to do that in Denver without being harrassed by a mob.

Attacked? Hardly. Threatened and harassed, yes. It does not help conservatives' case to exaggerate the truth.

I see some are mistaking 'attacked' for 'physically harmed'. To use the description 'attacked' in this context, I don't see an exaggeration. I'd also say that it went a little beyond harassment.

I disagree. First at 3:24 Alex Jones shoves the long haired guy. Look carefully, Michelle Malkin was right behind him.

At 3:50 Alex Jones yells out, "Get Michelle Malkin, don't let her leave." This is right after a guy behind him was yelling "Kill Michelle Malkin". In that context that could be interpreted as a call to violence against MM.

At 6:20, Alex Jones was asked "Are you worried about someone behaving violently against Michelle Malkin because of what you are saying?" Alex Jones answers, "I don't care."

Throughout the video Alex Jones calls her a monster, evil, a traitor a war criminal and many other names. I don't see how you can call that "fair play".

If you did to a female (or a male for that matter) in public, what Alex Jones and his group of followers did to Malkin, you would be lucky to not be physically harmed yourself in an ensuing riot. You would absolutely be hauled off to jail and be facing some pretty serious charges.

Your claim that it is a reasonable way to behave in public is ludicrous.

The fact that so many rallied to his side speaks volumes about their true beliefs about gender and diversity. If a woman has the temerity to disagree ... if a person of diversity has the temerity to disagree ... then they consider mob violence to be a justifiable method of silencing them.

1. Jeff, IF you watched the video that the rest of us watched, you saw a woman small of stature surrounded by a mob of people. At times it was difficult to see the top of her head. NO ONE could definitively state (and expect to be taken seriously) that she was never "touched" at any time in any way shape or form on any part of her body.

2. You seem to be under the misconception that the only definition of "attack" is a physical assault on ones person.

To say that she was only "abstractly or metaphorically" is a further blow to your credibility.

Since the Denver police are requesting video of the incident, there is reason to believe that she was "legally attacked" as well.

3. I can just see the Blogworthy household of an evening.....

Well I was standing there minding my own business when a group of large men surrounded me. One screamed "kill (insert speaker's name)" and then other men started screaming it too.

This one guy - who was at least twice my size - started screaming at me just inches from my face. He told everyone to get in my way and to now let me leave. Luckily, two guys stood between me and him, but there was no one protecting me on the other sides.

When I tried to walk away, the mob of guys cut off my path. I kept having to change direction and got stopped several times. Were it not for the two Good Samaritans distracting the big guy who was screaming at me and making accusations against me, I wouldn't have a chance to get away.

The police were right there in the area, but did nothing to stop any of them.

The big guy then followed me for quite a distance, including across a street. All the time, he was telling people to stop me and to not let me go. Some of the other guys continued to yell that I should be killed. Other people started screaming other things at me. All the while the group continued to try and surround me and keep me from leaving the area.

Female (wife, mother, sister, daughter, girlfriend, etc) of mine ... don't you know that they were just being abstract?
