The Obama camp and its willing accomplices in the mainstream Obamamedia are going to do their best to destroy Governor Palin, so it's important to know what tactics they're going to use so we can fight back with the truth. Patrick Casey at The American Thinker has a good article on defending Sarah Palin. Now, Sarah doesn't really need our help because she's obviously a very strong, capable, and competent leader, but there are voters who don't know her well so we have to make sure they don't buy into the lies the Obamamedia will try to throw out about Governor Palin. Here's a portion:
First - "Palin has no experience". That's an easy one to dismiss. Sarah Palin has had more executive experience, meaning experience in running either a business or a government, than either Barack Obama or his running mate, Joe Biden. She has more executive experience than even her running mate, John McCain. Governor Palin served as mayor of Wasilla, Alaska from 1999 to 2002. She was elected as President of the Alaska Conference of Mayors. She was elected as Governor of Alaska in 2006. And she has quite a few concrete achievements, considering the amount of time she's been in office.
Read all of it, especially the last point about liberals wrongfully smearing her with firing of former Alaskan Public Safety Commissioner.

In my city of 100,000 in a major suburban area, the City Council is a part-time job. They meet for two hours twice a month (once a month during summers). The mayor is a member of City Council with additional ceremonial responsibilities.
Palin's town was 5,000 when she was mayor. Are you really going to hold that up as meaningful "executive" experience? Giuliani, she ain't.

Psst.. note the Gov in at the beginning of "Gov. Palin". It means she's a governor. Of course, it's not a lot of executive experience but it's more than Obama.

And Obama's four years in the Senate is not a lot of federal government experience, but it's a lot more than Palin.
Funny how the right shouted "no foreign policy experience" until Obama picked Biden and McCain picked Palin. Now suddenly it's "executive experience" (although Palin has a mere 18 months). If all candidates had the same exact experience, you'd be looking to see if Palin had a paper route longer.

Sarah Palin will be under great pressure between now and election day to prove to voters that she has the experience and judgment necessary to become president as John McCain has had a substantial history of health problems as well as his advanced age.
A few days ago a former All Star Portland Trailblazer NBA star suddenly died of heart failure at the age of just 44. John McCain is substantially older than 44. Is Sarah Palin ready to be president?

DJ, Palin needs to demonstrate to the nation that she is ready to be president because the age of John McCain as well as his history of cancer health problems, which are legitimate concerns.
It's also fine with me if in your own opinion you might even personally believe that Palin is somehow better qualified to deal with any international challenges coming from Vladimir Putin, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad or Kim Jong-Il than the toughness or foreign policy experience of Joe Biden as well if either should become president.
Palin will need to demonstrate much to the American voters not to become a new drag on the McCain campaign that has been troubled with a number of poor choices that were delegated responsibility far beyond their actual ability levels.

Governor Palin served as mayor of Wasilla, Alaska from 1999 to 2002.
Technically true but she also served as mayor of Wasilla between 1996-1999. She was, as noted, elected President of the Alaska Conference of Mayors. She also served as Ethics Commissioner of the Alaska Oil and Gas Conservation Commission where she boldly took on her Party Establishment to root out corruption. Add to this the fact that she has run a business, unlike Obama or Biden or even McCain, and you can see how well rounded her experience has been.
Contrast this to Obama who has served 4 years as a US Senator, while spending three of those years running for President. Obama has never run a state, a county, a town, a business, or even a hot dog stand. He has zero executive experience and no legislative accomplsihments. He has absolutely no military experience. He only denounces people like Rev. Wright and Ayers when they become political liabilities. Hardly bold.
Palin even has more foreign policy experience as her state borders two foreign countries, Russia and Canada. In fact, I don't even see Obama as qualfied to be VP, much less a presidential candidate.

Since the 5th kid was born AFTER that, she's what we call "a normal person." Even among the pro-life folks, it's just common English usage (sure, they often say things like "and one on the way," but a mother well into a stressful pregnancy often gets tired of talking about the whole subject). Lack of mention of the 5th could also be laid at the feet of the reporter or editor.
It's nice to see how some of the Dem talking points are already making their way onto the net, though. Which site did you get that bit of "research" from?

Then you concede that their jobs are comparable. I'll go with Palin, who defied her party haevyweights, defeated an incumbent governor Frank Murkowski in the primary and stood up to the corrupt status quo.
Compare this with the Illinois senator who inherited his seat (after throwing a long time supporter overboard) from Jack Ryan, and promptly started running for president.
