Obama needs a WAAAAHmbulance!

Obama needs a WAAAAH!mbulance today. He's crying because Sarah Palin didn't give him the credit he deserves. Because, you know, her speech should've including soaring rhetoric about his godliness and all she did was talk about herself and that old white-haired guy. And on top of that, she actually attacked him on experience! Her political opponent! How dare she?!

Sniffle.

This is work I did three [sic] years ago They haven't talked about the fact that I was a civil rights lawyer. They haven't talked about the fact that I taught constitutional law. They haven't talked about my work in the state legislature or the United States Senate. They're talking about the three years of work that I did right out of college, as if I'm making the leap from 2 or 3 years out of college into the presidency.

Well, to listen to Barack Obama talk about his work as a community organizer, you'd think it was more important than being the President. And of course, the Uh-Master didn't have any problems ridiculing her experience as mayor... of Wasilly.

Well, uh, uh, my understanding is that, uh, Governor Palin's, uh, town of Wasilly, uh, has, I think, 50 employees... uh, we've got 2500, uh, in this campaign. I think their budget is maybe $12 million a year. Uh, uh, we have a budget of about three times that, uh, just for the month. Uh, so I think that, uh, our ability to manage large systems, uh, and to execute, uh, I think has been made clear over the last couple of years. Uh, and certainly, in terms of, uh, the legislation that I've passed just dealing with this issue post-Katrina, uh, of how we handle emergency management. The fact that, uh, many of my recommendations were adopted and are being put in place, uh, as we speak, I think indicates the degree to which, uh, we can provide, uh, the kinds of support and good service that the American people expect.
Of course, if anyone wants to compare experience, Jeff Emanuel's got that one covered already. And what's this about legislation? Obama did practically nothing in the Senate except vote "present". His wife Michelle has more executive experience than Obama does.

Poor Obama. He can dish it out, but he just can't take an opponent that fights back.

all Sarah Palin proved last night was that she can read from a tele-prompter, well sort of. Let's see how she does when she has to answer real questions from the press and public.

Hmmm...wonder how often they have sanitation pickup at Obama's campaign. Wonder where they get their water. How about their sewers? It gets cold in AK so I hear...how many calls for frozen pipes has Obama gotten from campaign staffers in the night? Roads? How many roads has Obama's election campaign paved? School? Lots of schools funded by Obama's campaign? Unity? Any dissenting voices arguing on everything to do it another way on the campaign? Plowing? I bet they plow a lot in Wassily. How many plow trucks does Obama need to make sure are ready to go for the winter? School buses? Lots of them for the campaign? Collecting taxes? Obama have a lot of experience making sure the right school taxes and assessments are sent out by his staff?

Need I go on? Or should we just let you eat your waffle in peace, Obama?

Geez, Sheik, that schtick is getting old.

I propose that all Wizbang authors just put a perfunctory "if any liberals comment this post it means I'm on target, and if any liberals don't comment on this post then it also means I'm on target" right at the top of every thread.

It would save you and wildwillie a lot of time.

Cassy, you must have meant to link to another video. Because the one you linked to showed a politician deflecting a critical question and turning it around to instead talk about his own points. You know, like McCain also routinely does. And like this guy did.

The only WAAAHing and crying around here seems to be coming from you.

It's certainly the intended point, but seeing as it uses any arbitrary criteria no matter how contradictory to arrive at the identical conclusion, it falls flat.

Given how much the right criticized Michelle Obama, she must have been right on target.

Given how vociferously the right criticized Joe Biden, he must be right on target.

Given how loudly the right supports Palin, you must be scared.

Given how quickly you responded to my comment, I must have hit a nerve.

It's just a substitute for saying something intelligent. Which I guess some people need.

Mac Lorry:

I wouldn't say Obama is crying, but he is on the defensive. It's still too early to judge how effective Palin will be, but McCain's pick of her reminds me of the Incheon landing. With one bold move General MacArthur ended North Korea's string of victories and put them on the defensive. In a week we'll know if McCain made a similar turn around move. If so, than anyone who questions McCain's judgement in picking Palin will raise questions about their own judgement.

I'm sorry, but it is getting almost impossible not to lose respect for someone who thinks this guy is anything but an embarassment to blacks, men, Senators, Chicagoans, muslims, Christians, democratics, feminists, Americans, human beings, residents of Earth etc. Weasels hear him, and are awstruck at his weaselness.
