Obama's Goons Hack Macsmind

He wrote about it at Gateway Pundit:

This is MacRanger of Macsmind. As you know I was hacked by operatives of the Obama Campaign last month. Well, it happened again. Basically they flooded the site with "sql bombs" according to the host that caused the shared server to stop running. Subsequently be had to disable the site. This had to do with running the "Obama wants to Disarm America" post which more than 2 million people viewed on the site. Just like the goons in Missouri, the Obama truthers can't let the truth be known. I've now moved the blog back to blogspot at macsmind.blogspot.com at least temporally. Because of the hacking job I had to move to another host but unfortunately they haven't got the server up yet to redirect the traffic to blogspot. I would appreciate a mention to your readers. I'm getting a couple of hundred emails about "what happened", but as you can imagine it hard to get the word out by reply.

Thanks,

MacRanger

First the law enforcement "Truth Squad" in Missouri which threatened to go after Obama's critics. Now this. So this is the change Obama says we can believe in: intimidate, harass, threaten, demean, besmirch, and destroy anyone who dares to criticize The One.

Hackers taking down web sites; hackers publishing Sarah Palin's private emails and exposing her family and friends to harassing phone calls; prosecutorial truth squads threatening political speech; threats to yank the FCC status of Pennsylvania television stations and the tax-exempt status of national Jewish groups.

A damning pattern.

Chance that more than 5% of voters will have heard about any of this before Election Day: 0%

If Obama makes it into office, I suspect this is one main reason that media won't talk about it. This crap along with the bailout vote tomorrow are eerily simultaneous.

You come home to find your property has been taken and call the cops. They show up and say, well it looks like you didn't lock your front door, so no crime was committed. Of course that's wrong, but it's an extension of your logic. Hackers always try the easy stuff first, but it's still hacking. The person with the poor judgement was the guy who broke into Palin's email account.

When is the last time Kevin posted IP addresses here when there was a suspicion of hacking at Wizbang? Stop being so thick, and take your rationalizing denial elsewhere. Even the guy that got busted knew he was in a proxy when he accessed Palin's e-mail, and would be in big trouble if the FBI had the evidence.

Even if you don't lock your front door it's still burglary for someone to come in and take your property. Some here seem to think that if an experienced burglar found the front door unlocked they wouldn't rob the place because is was beneath their dignity to just walk in. Or if they did rob the place it's not a crime because the front door wasn't locked. Sorry, it doesn't work that way. Guessing at passwords or hint questions for an email account that belongs to someone else is hacking. In fact, good hackers try the easy stuff first.

Yeah, let's keep side-stepping with semantics. Or, let's get to the heart of the matter. It e-mail he "did not hack", didn't belong to him, neither was the password his to change, neither was the content for him to exploit and use against her.

That's like saying, "Oh, tra la, it wasn't a break in because he found a key! He just trespassed and stole personal property!"

And apparently, even the hacker himself disagrees with you:

Earlier it was just some prank to me, I really wanted to get something incriminating which I was sure there would be, just like all of you anon out there that you think there was some missed opportunity of glory, well there WAS NOTHING, I read everything, every little blackberry confirmation... all the pictures, and there was nothing, and it finally set in, THIS internet was serious business, yes I was behind a proxy, only one, if this shit ever got to the FBI I was fucked, I panicked, i still wanted the stuff out there but I didn't know how to rapidshit all that stuff, so I posted the pass on /b/, and then promptly deleted everything, and unplugged my internet and just sat there in a comatose state
http://michellemalkin.com/2008/09/17/the-story-behind-the-palin-e-mail-hacking/

He didn't just change the password, he wanted to find something incriminating. Rationalize this all you want, call it a "dinosaur" definition. If it's still in the dictionary, it's valid.
