Lorie adds: Jim Hoft has a good rundown of the highlights of the debate. Sister Toldjah also has a great running post on the debate. Bob Owens has a debate review in two sentences. Here is my take in two sentences: McCain made some good points on some issues, but let other opportunities pass that he could have made more of and he did not push Obama hard enough when Obama did not answer truthfully. Unless McCain makes the most of some of Obama's less than truthful responses in some killer ads, this debate will end up doing nothing to help him. Ace says McCain lost because he didn't make points on the number one issue today. I was also really disappointed that McCain did not make an issue of who is responsible for the Fannie/Freddie sub-prime mess and who was right about it and tried to do something about it and who just wrote some letters. Why does he refuse to make that case? Why throw away such a strong argument on the most important issue? It is maddening.

Well, a large healthcare company in Barack Obama's Chicago area recently announced it is laying off 1000 employees due to the closing of one of its plants. Guess where that plant and those 1000 jobs are going? Want to move to Ireland?

First segment, McCain getting good reports but not enough to get on-camera commitment from any of them. One "uncommitted" black female was moved by Obama's performance to change from "leaning toward McCain last debate" to committing to Obama tonight; I saw an Obama plant knowingly played to by Couric. Oh Shit, the commercial just broke in the middle with a teaser and a smile from Katie Couric that one of her "uncommitted" focus group members just COMMITTED! You can't make this shit up! Tom, we know that he was born in Hawaii. The question is why the dems are trying to block the release of the docs. When he was adopted by Lolo Soetoro and moved to Indonesia, Obama went to school there, as well. Indonesia does not recognize dual citizenship, and it is not clear whether or not his American citizenship has been reestablished. I am thinking the dems are trying to block release of his birth cert as a distraction to the other information.
When he first entered the political arena, he had his only opponent petitioned off the ballot, so he won uncontested. This would remove any formality of comparing the background of each candidate. And of course we are still awaiting confirmation of his length of time in Jakarta and adoption.

LaMedusa:
I noticed the first post on the blog you linked to was about the comments Michelle Obama supposedly made to African Press International. According to LGF, Michelle Obama never contacted that organization.
And, whatever Democrats4RealChange is running on their site is killing the performance on my PC. I've tried killing Firefox and rebooting cleared it, but once I navigated to the site again it maxed out the performance of my CPU.

Yeah, there are a couple of things going on here. If he went to school in Indonesia, he would have to lose his American citizenship and became an Indonesian citizen. When he came back to Hawaii, it's not clear whether he actually became an American citizen again. But if he already submitted the birth docs, why are the dems blocking it now? Obama has used American tax dollars to support this guy, also:
Barack Obama & Raila Odinga

Yeah, I was also in contact with someone who said the phone call is supposedly a hoax, but why the secrecy around the birth docs now? Take a look at Obama's affiliation in the youtube link with Raila Odinga. As far as the democrats for change site, I don't have any problems with it. I have a couple of firewalls.

Tom, you might want to try doing an ad sweep and registry clean. I have had the cpu thing happen a couple of times going to Youtube. I just did the above.

From what I've been reading, the fact that Indonesia doesn't recognize dual citizenship does not disqualify Obama's American citizenship. Perhaps in Indonesia it does, but not in America. A natural born citizen is still an American. I think this is a mutually exclusive situation.
I'm definitely no lawyer, so please correct me if and where I'm wrong.
The US did not recognize dual citizenship for a number of years it only been very recent that has changed. If Obama renounced his American Citizenship then he should not be president. If he still has citizenship in Indonesia then he should not be president. No one with dual citizenship should every be allowed as President. I
You cannot serve two masters. That is why the founders wanted people who were natural born citizens not naturalized citizens for president. There are things that we do not allow any foreign nation to see for our won National Security that includes UK, Israel and Australia our closest allies.
If this was done outside of his control and he never renounce his allegiance to America, he should still be able to run. However considering the Marxist company he keeps he should not be President

Tom Blogical,
The youtube interviews of Yuri Bezmenov are incredible. Kinda reminds me of the Iraqi General who said sadaams' WMDs were spirited away to Syria, because no one cares about that either. Thanks for the link though, at least now I will understand what is going on when the end comes...

Mark:
I believe that there are reports that backed up the claims of the General you're talking about. Satellite data picked up massive movements of transports through the Syrian border just prior to the invasion. The Sadaam army had infiltrated a number of the checkpoints there or had bought them out, according to several reports. All of it is still circumstantial evendence, unfortunately.
Make sure you read the links to the American Thinker, those dovetail with the Bezmenov interview very well.

FYI, I ran RegClean and I'm still having issues with that site in particular. That site is the only one that causes the issue. Every time I go there it kills the CPU usage.

Has anyone ever won the presidency using the rope-a-dope tactic?
I was guessing (hoping?) that McCain would come harder on the final debate. Obama repeated the same things he has in the prior debates.. except that I do think McCain rattle him a time or two (almost like the teleprompter lost sync). I can't help but wonder if the McCain camp had a 'surge' strategy for the debates...
