Take a look at this beauty:

It's the British made L115A3 Long Range Rifle and it kills from a mile away. Too freaking cool if you ask me:
British Army snipers call it 'the Silent Assassin' and it is the weapon the Taliban fear the most.It is the British-made L115A3 Long Range Rifle which, in recent weeks, has killed scores of enemy fighters in Afghanistan.
In a new initiative on the front line, the Army is using sniper platoons to target the Taliban and 'The Long', as the snipers call it, can take out insurgents from a mile away.
Many of the elite marksmen who use the rifle make their own extraordinary suits of camouflage to stay hidden from the Taliban.
Some have been known to go 'under cover' for two days while they pick off the enemy.
Last week Army snipers were training with the rifle and full camouflage on the snow-covered ranges of the Support Weapons School at the Land Warfare Centre at Warminster, Wiltshire...
The L115A3 Long Range Sniper Rifle - based on a weapon used by the British Olympic shooting team - weighs 15lbs, fires 8.59mm rounds and has a range of 1,100-1,500 yards.
Check out the link and take a look at the camouflage the snipers where as they hunt the Taliban. It's the stuff of movies.

Hey guys, lets keep the revolutionary rhetoric to a minimum. Yes, a sorry excuse for a president has been elected and the next four years will suck but we can't holler for a revolution every time we lose an election. Doing so will only undermine your postition and and could potentially be harmful to democracy, sometimes the other guy has to win.
But of course that's just my humble opinion.

I don't agree with just about anything that BO is doing either but nothing will doom a democracy faster than one side resorting to violence over a difference in policy. I do realize that most of the above comments are in good fun and not seriouse but such comments only give ammunition to those who would try to take our freedoms away such as the right to arms. I also realize that at some point revolution in the name of freedom is both needed and moral but we are no where near that point yet. Yet.
P.S. Such a pretty gun shouldn't be so far out of my price range (sigh) until it I guess got to make due.

Wow! Cool toy! Wish I had one. I never served in the military; but I'm a gun enthusiast and as I recently told my daddy, if I had been I would have wanted to be a sniper. Never mind having to lie there in a ghilley suit or under cover for hours and hours, using the bathroom on yourself. The thrill of being able to obliterate your target from a mile away has got to be the ultimate adrenaline rush!

They have. Filmed sniper team is on one ridge and jihad johnny is on another. Distance is enough to make him almost invisible in the rocks until he's hit. While its not the pink mist you'd expect, you'd be amazed that a nonexplosive round would do what it did.
Watch at your discretion. NOT FOR THE SQUEAMISH
