Ayatollah You It's The Jeeeeewssss...

Iran is up to its evil rhetorical eyeballs again, this time with comments by Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.

Describing the Jewish state as a "cancer", he proclaimed B.Hussein to be "pursuing the same "wrong path" as George W Bush.

"Even the new president of America, who has come to power with slogans about changing Bush's policies, is defending state terrorism by talking about unconditional commitment to Israel's security," Reuters reported Khamenei said at a conference on the Palestinian issue in Tehran.

I guess Khamenei missed the news about the billion dollar stimulus package Barack is funneling through the UN to the peace loving people of Gaza.

"Another big mistake is to say that the only way to save the Palestinian nation is by negotiations," Khamenei said.

"The way to salvation [for Palestinians] is standing firm and resisting," the supreme leader said.

This comes on the heels of Obama's possible deal with Russia to suspend placement of a strategic missile sheild in the Czech Republic and Poland in return for Russian leverage in dealing with Iran and its nuclear ambitions.

Khamenei also claims the Holocaust was used to "usurp" Palestinian land (i.e. Israel) and was wrong to not allow anyone to question the existence of the Holocaust.

This, in conjunction with President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad's claim that the Holocaust never occurred, saying "The story of the Holocaust, a nation without a homeland and a homeland without a nation ... are the big lies of our era."

"The continuation of the Zionist regime even on one inch of the land of Palestine, because of the nature of that regime, means the continuation of crime, occupation, threat and insult to the nations," Reuters reported Ahmadinejad as saying.

This is obviously expected of the Iranian regime, who wishes to "wipe Israel off the map."

How do you diplomatically deal with zealots like those which deny the Holocaust, compare Jews to "apes and monkeys", and wish for the destruction of "the Great Satan", all the while having to foster relationships with an anti-semetic Europe, the UN, and Arab states who wish for the same destruction?

"Diplomatically"?

There is no diplomatic way to deal with a group of zealots who's sole purpose in life is to kill you and destroy your way of life except to beat them to the punch.

You can bet the farm the Israeli's will do that when they see a launch going down.

That's actually a good point, if you also recognize that it doesn't mean she, or her boss, can, either.

There may be no "good" solution to Iran, much as with the Fourth Reich.

I have to admit I'm glad that this administration decided the US will not attend the upcoming Durban II meeting. Primarily because it's shaping up to be another "let's bash Israel" fest.

What is tiresome though is this decision will likely be a precursor to many other decisions to come. The whole "we need to use diplomacy with with our enemies" mantra will have the same outcome. What outcome is that, you ask? That they can't be talked to reasonably. Something many of us and the past administration have been saying all along. But somehow, we have fully half the country who thinks diplomacy hasn't ever been tried. The media has led them to believe that "cowboy diplomacy" is what has held back any reasonable discussion with the Middle East, particularly Syria and Iran. But it's "okay" when Obama talks of invading Pakistan's border without their consent. It's "okay" to step up actions in Afghanistan.

At least I take the time to read about these things.

Your posts consist of nothing more than personal attacks of people you don't know.

Pathetic on your part.

I will say though, you reeeealy hurt my feelings.
