Obamavilles Popping up in Various Parts of the Country

Glenn Reynolds predicts the media won't start calling these modern day Hoovervilles that are popping up in various parts of the country Obamavilles, but that doesn't mean those of us in the new media can't. Obama is, after all, presiding over this recession, and his policies are going to make it even worse, so he owns it.

How about "Pelosiopolis"? ... (Below threshold)
GarandFan:

How about "Pelosiopolis"? Or maybe a "Reidville" here or there. Remember, we want to 'share the wealth'.

How about West Kenya in hon... (Below threshold)
MPR:

How about West Kenya in honor of Obamalala's brother living in a three foot by three foot hovel. Or, Keynesville in honor of the economic policies Obamalala is trying to force on America. Geithnerberg or Timmy Town in honor of his hapless T. Sec. Or... this is fun, if it weren't so pathetic.

Obamaville
Sung to the tune of Margaritaville

Nibblin' on tofu
Can't find no real food.
Environmental wackos are banning it all.
My last job was taken
By an illegal alien
Now my home has canvas walls.

Wastin' my time here in an Obamaville.
Waiting for my slice of hope and change.
Some people claim that George Bush is to blame.
But I know...
It's big government's fault.

I don't know the reason
they all believed him
When Obama promised us the sun and the moon.
It must have been magic
But now it's turned tragic
And the media still doesn't have a clue.

Wastin' my time here in an Obamaville.
Waiting for my slice of hope and change.
Some people claim that George Bush is to blame.
But I know...
It's big government's fault.

Al Gore keeps warning
about global warning
He wants me to pay for the damage I've done.
With my tofu burrito
and my flaming hot nachos
I'll blow him a tune to keep him on the run.

Wastin' my time here in an Obamaville.
Waiting for my slice of hope and change.
Some people claim that George Bush is to blame.
But I know...
It's big government's fault.

Such pathetic losers.... (Below threshold)
Verbal:

Such pathetic losers.

Obamaville...that is truly the wording of blind followers of George W. Bush who have nothing else to offer our country than their attempt to "brand" Obama with anything they can throw at him.

Sorry to inform you but this economic crisis was cooked up under 8 years of your President's reign, not ours (especially given this man's been in office two months). And I can guarantee you the homeless, foreclose-upon and investment poor are blaming him for their woes as well. But I don't expect sore losers to be anything but crybabies.

Get a life.

Flu-Bird:

To make a OBAMASVILLE just gather all those used cardboard boxes from the supermarkets or walmart and you have one all ready to build
