Cash For Clunkers Craters

Amazingly there are some issues with a government handout plan that was hastily passed by Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid's crew in Congress and rubber stamped by the defacto CEO of GM .

By all means lets turn over the operation of our health care system to these folks. What could go wrong?

With the "Cash for Clunkers" and the US Post Office as examples of 'efficiency', I can see how Barry believes that government involvement in health care will reduce costs.

Even the VA has new 'cost cutting' measures.

Everything that they have tried has blown back in the faces of "Walks on Water, San Fran Nan and Dingy Harry. I wonder what next will happen to the Dems? They have become the laughing stock of the world. Talk about incompetent people.

I don't see the problem here:

In a survey of nearly 800 dealers: (from NADA)

* 97% of dealers who responded, say the government is not reimbursing fast enough
* 13% of dealers have dropped out the program because the government is not reimbursing fast enough
* 87% percent of dealers are concerned the money will be exhausted
* 3% of CARS program deals have been reimbursed
* 66% of dealers have not received one payment from the government
* 25% of dealers are experiencing severe cash flow problems that require short-term loans to alleviate
* 11% of submitted applications have been approved (though dealers still are waiting for the money)
* 16% of submitted applications have been rejected
* 55% of dealers are not confident they will get reimbursed for every deal
* 40% do not want the program to continue, even if changes are made to the CARS program

General Motors announced Thursday that it will immediately start providing "cash advances" to dealers equivalent to the rebates that are being processed, and will do so for the duration of the program. The Transportation Department said Monday will be the last day.

I mean really, if obama motors can fire a CEO they might also twist a few arms to get the outcome they desire for this BS program right?
