This is a Public Service Announcement.
If this is the first you've heard about the Michelle Obama doll, I would direct you to this article in
The New York Times, which describes it in detail:
The doll, scheduled for release Nov. 20, comes with three clothing options based on real dresses Mrs. Obama has worn: a purple V-neck sheath from the famous fist bump, a black-and-white floral from her appearance on "The View", and a red-and-black frock she wore on election night. Jason Feinberg, the toy's creator, told The Daily News that it's no coincidence that all of the options are sleeveless.

I realize that we are all eager to get our hands on the new Michelle Obama doll. But I would be remiss if I did not remind the public to be safe while trying to acquire this high-demand item.
What could possibly go wrong, you ask?
Remember the Tickle Me Elmo craze?
What about the Cabbage Patch Riots ?
"Ancient history!" you say? What about last year's Black Friday Wal-Mart Stampede ?
I understand that emotions run high when shopping for a hot commodity.
But I implore you:
Don't let the raw magnetism of her toned arms cause us to act like savages.
Shop safe, and don't disappoint Michelle. She might stop being proud of her country again.

If they'd manufactured a "doll" that actually captured Michelle Obama's bad-&-abnormal appearance, maybe I'd buy one. But this doll rendition (pictured here) makes her look normal.

I remember Teddy Ruxpin. It was 'cool' and hyped to the max, but in the end it was extremely expensive, support was minimal, and in the end it ended up on the scrapheap of bad toys because kids got over the novelty once they figured out all it could do was move its mouth and talk.
Wait a second...we have 'Teddy Ruxpin' for President!

These dolls aren't life-like. The feet are only a size 8; MEchelle wears size 13. Besides, there is not enough "junk in the trunk". And, the belts are around her waist, not up under her boobs like a bustier.
Does that make me racist because I think she is ugly and has no class? No, it makes me honest. Some of us speak the truth regardless of who it is about.
