It seems that we have been getting bogus data on the number of jobs "saved or created".
From the AP, emphasis mine:
A Colorado company said it created 4,231 jobs with the help of President Barack Obama's economic recovery plan. The real number: fewer than 1,000.A child care center in Florida said it saved 129 jobs with the help of stimulus money. Instead, it gave pay raises to its existing employees.
Elsewhere in the U.S., some jobs credited to the stimulus program were counted two, three, four or even more times.
...
The White House says it is aware there are problems. In an interview, Ed DeSeve, an Obama adviser helping to oversee the stimulus program, said agencies have been working with businesses that received the money to correct mistakes.Other errors discovered by the public also will be corrected, he said.
"If there's an error that was made, let's get it fixed," DeSeve said.
Hmm, the adviser from the White House is named DeSeve? Seriously?

"His comments during his daily meeting with reporters came hours after the White House issued a midnight press release complaining about the AP's review of jobs the government credits to stimulus spending."
Criticize the Won, get the Fox treatment. Look out, AP.

One thing I constantly hear from this administration is that they are 'aware' of waste, fraud, abuse & lying. What's missing is if they care about it or will prosecute any of it. The answer to both of those is 'No'.

Well the AP can kiss off a Christmas card from Barry this year. Wonder if Ms Wonder Buns in the White House Comm Center will brand AP "not a valid news source"?

In response to the AP's findings White House spokesman Rob Gibbs stated, "That's simply not true. There are now more women working in the prostitution business then ever before. Their not counting all the jobs stimulated in the prostitution field. You know the hand and blow kind."
