This is delicious news... news you know is busting veins on liberal necks the globe over...
Loving it:
Perhaps the greatest measure of Obama's declining support is that just 50% of voters now say they prefer having him as President to George W. Bush, with 44% saying they'd rather have his predecessor. Given the horrendous approval ratings Bush showed during his final term that's somewhat of a surprise and an indication that voters are increasingly placing the blame on Obama for the country's difficulties instead of giving him space because of the tough situation he inherited. The closeness in the Obama/Bush numbers also has implications for the 2010 elections. Using the Bush card may not be particularly effective for Democrats anymore, which is good news generally for Republicans...
This piece made my friggin' day.

I don't miss him. Obama if anything will scare us into some smarts. face it... Bush spent money on social programs and also recognized the concept of "Moderate" Islam, which was the problem from the get go. I think he meant well and all of us believed what he believed at the time, but you can't defeat an enemy you don't understand.
there is no moderate Islam! we have been fighting an invisible enemy and Obama in some ways made us realize what we were up against.

For his own sake, I do not want George W. Bush back in office. What he endured at the hands of the demented left during his 8 years in office is beyond what any man should be forced to endure. He has given enough! Let him enjoy his retirement. Let him eventually arrive at the place where people realize what a treasure we had in the man. Comparing the gracious and glowing Laura Bush to the perpetually scowling Michelle Obama is another loser for the Obamas. Nobody else is willing to say it, so I will. What does that broad have to be so grumpy about? She has 2 beautiful little girls, she is First Lady of the United States, her first class education was provided to her by the people of this country (that she isn't proud of). She's an ingrate and a nonstop kvetch!

At the rate Obama's going, forget W - we're going to be wishing for Jimmuh Carter soon.
And after Jimmuh, Warren G. Harding.
There really does come a point where you've got to stop digging your hole deeper - but Obama is convinced (and so is the Democratic Congress) that all they've got to do is spend even MORE money and things will magically become better.
But where in the hell are they going to get the money? Well, take a look in your wallet - it's going to be a lot thinner in a while!

Imagine what the Bush vs Obama figures will be, after the next terrorist attack on a 9/11 or Mumbai level and Obama does absolutely nothing but talk...
Imagine what they'll be when in 2011 a regional nuclear arms race has erupted in the Middle East in reaction to Iran reaching nuclear capability.
Imagine what they'll be when a nuclear Iran seizes control of the Straight of Hormuz and oil jumps to $200-$400 a barrel? With gasoline severely rationed in the US, electric rates and basically the price of everything (oil products are ubiquitous) sky rocketing...
