Conservative radio talk host Rush Limbaugh was rushed to a Honolulu hospital on Wednesday afternoon with chest pains, sources told KITV.
Paramedics responded to the call at 2:41 p.m. at the Kahala Hotel and Resort.
Limbaugh suffered from chest pains, sources said. Paramedics treated him and took him to Queen's Medical Center in serious condition.
He was seen golfing at Waialae Country Club earlier this week. The country club is next to the Kahala Hotel and Resort.
Prayer flares being fired for the man.

UPDATE: I awake this morning to news that Rush is resting comfortably and that his well-wishers should stay tuned to his website for updates. And a pox on the haters who were hoping for his death.

According to TMZ, out of 6000 votes, 59% wish him a speedy recovery, the rest don't. Says a lot about the left. And they have the nerve to call us hateful.

What can I say? Rush was around for my wife and I when there was not cable, internet, etc. All we had were newspapers, MSM, etc. My wife and I sometimes doubted our conclusions and opinions. Then driving back from Denver to Houston, we happened upon his broadcast and it really felt like finding an oasis in the desert. Conservatives don't always have to agree with him, but we must hold him up as the very few conservative pioneers that got the messsage out when it was not easy to do.
Rush, get well. We have many battles yet to fight. ww

I don't know about those other guys, but I will wish Mr Limbaugh a speedy recovery here.
Sometimes scares like this will mellow a dude out for a while. Maybe he'll soften some of his more over-the-top rhetoric. Probably not, but here's hoping.
I would never wish for another's death. Except maybe Lieberman. (That's a joke.)
For the more self-righteous commenters, I suggest you go back and read what you, yourselves, had to say on these boards when Kennedy or Cronkite died. I believe "I hope he roasts in hell" was the flavor of some of the regulars' contributions, including some of you who are now calling people "haters."
