Via Mike's America at Flopping Aces who opines:
On the White House web site, the Obama Administration announced their new budget proposal with the banner headline: "A new era of responsibility, the 2011 budget."
It may be a "new era" but it's hardly responsible. After complaining in his State of the Union address about the budget mess he inherited, Obama's big government spending spree will create record deficits for years to come.
The recklessness of this blatant fiscal irresponsibility is staggering.

BTW, did you know Obama's solved all our money problems? He's figured out a way to soak the rich for another trillion over 10 years.
Of course, we'll accumulate roughly another $15 trillion in debt over that time - but it's the thought that counts, right?

They must be living in a bubble though because the charade is not going to work.
And if the repubs had any brains, they'd realize that the dems are writing their political ads for them, especially Pelosi, as Falze shows above.
Lord, it must be tough for Obama supporters.

Obama and the MSM conveniently avoid mentioning that he was a US Senator for part of the time that the 'mess he inherited' was created...by Congress. Congress enacts the laws and provides money, not the President. Congress could have done something about the Fannie Mae/Freddie Mac debacle, but they claimed that there was nothing wrong with the system, even though there was evidence of irregularities in financial reporting before the collapse in 2008.

"Re: the chart: Why cum da $4 trillion-bigger Bush dots on de chart is clozer toogedder dan de Obama dots uv bout de same amount, huh? I aks yoo, Huh?"
Look at the angle of the line (x axis deflection) for the $4 billion between 2007 and 2009 - then look at the x axis deflection for the $4 billion between 2009 and 2012 - suddenly it's vertical.
Are you moderates naive enough to fall for the lies these sacks of crap are telling you? Look at how they've doctored the chart to shape the line.
and then remember "The CBO federal debt projections are 7.544 for 2009 and 10.479 trillion for 2012. b-in-g is correct. If one wishes to use a chart to illustrate a point, the chart must contain a note about the source. Unfortunately, that's really just a distraction. The P-O-R Triumvirate have since 2007 and plan to continue to massively increase the fiscal deficit, not only during his next 3 years, but into the out years as well when he's no longer around. The estimated 2009 deficit is $1.75 trillion (White House OMB). With unemployment insurance and state/municipality gap filling likely to continue, but more probably increase, along with Son of Stimulus, the actual expenditures are almost certain to exceed the estimates in the above chart. And lets not forget the head of OMB said in 2008 that Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, as Government Secured Entities, should be included in the budget. Well, their combined liabilities now exceed $6.3 trillion in MBS "investments." And, of course, Mr. Orszag now doesn't so much like the idea of including the recent formalized Treasury guarantees to these zombie institutions on the USG balance sheets. And, lest we forget, we have $53 trillion in unfunded liabilities for old age entitlements whose fuse has been lit. We could go on, but what's the point. Under Obama and the dim-Dem Congress, expenditures will exceed projections on the up side and tax revenues will exceed expectations on the down side. The fiscal pooch has been screwed, folks, whether b-in-g likes it or not.

I'm inclined to think it's either a slightly outdated chart that was recycled or isn't using CBO estimates at all - slightly different assumptions could easily make up the difference between the CBO report and the graph. Given the very slight discrepancy between the 2009 numbers on the chart and in the CBO report, either explanation seems likely - the difference is a couple of hundred billion (in Obama-speak: walking around money)
The January 2010 CBO report estimate for 2012 can be found on page 118 and is $15.259 trillion. Either way you can safely ignore or mock the people that don't know the difference between debt held by the public and total federal debt and then scream their ignorance.

Of course I've seen South Park. There are exactly 13 brilliant episodes and 5-10 good ones. Like the Simpsons, it should have been cancelled years ago.
P.S. I'm not fat.
