Snow is on the Ground in all Fifty States

Snow Cover 2.png

The latest snowstorm now burying South Carolina, Georgia and the Florida Panhandle under several inches of global warming has left us with a remarkable anomoly - snow is on the ground in at least some parts of all fifty states. After dumping over a foot in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area, the latest in a series of winter systems to affect the deep south is expected to leave a wide swath of snow from the Florida Gulf Coast to the palm-laced beaches of Hilton Head, SC.

The extreme cold has not been limited to the United States. Much of Europe has likewise suffered through a particularly brutal winter. Britain faces possible gas shortages as pipelines from Norway have frozen and disrupted supply. Heavy snow has fallen as far south as southern Italy.

At the risk of sounding stupid, are you prepared to indicate there's snow in Hawaii, as based on your title? That's about as believable as Barack Obama promising something and holding himself to it!

You know what's really trajic about this statement. I seem to recall how one of the big "facts" that set off the Global Warming hysterics (and let's not kid ourselves, that's what it is) is how 1998 was the hottest year on record.

Now it came to pass that those "facts" were indeed wrong, and 1998 was merely an unusually hot year. Fast forward 12 years, and we have had an unusually COLD year. Record breaking in quite a few places, actually... but this is obviously an outliar that is to be ignored. (snark)Obviously.(/snark)

Forget how the global temps that are measured trend ALMOST EXACTLY with sunspot activity (that we can do EXACTLY ZERO about). Forget, that once upon a time, fluctuations in the weather was called... (wait for it) WEATHER. Forget that the climate is an impossibly complex system that has shown more and more often to be a self correcting and stable system.

No, we are to believe this is Global Warming. Everything is due to global warming, right?

And I don't suppose that 50 million years of climate trends can be completely predicted based on 100 years of shoddy, manipulated temperature data. In terms of geologic time, 100 years is the preamble to a flea fart. Never mind the fraudulent manipulation of the data and the suppression of opposing scientific opinion, if we don't unilaterally turn the American economy inside out right this instant to expiate our sins, we all gonna DIE.

The terms of climatology don't even involve decades (which would easily avoid explaining the Medieval warm period). Once you extend to hundreds of thousands of years, patterns emerge as a result of natural forces. Repeating patterns - of which we are at a current maximum.

Highlander,

Your link proves only that the climate changes over cycles of various lengths. No one is saying otherwise. The issue is what causes such cycles? There is zero scientifically valid evidence demonstrating that CO2 increases global temperatures, but there is growing evident showing that solar magnetic cycles alter global climate.

What it's about is having an environmental extremist ideology masquerading as science for the purpose of imposing a radical agenda on our nation. Real science is transparent and open, and only when that model is followed for climate science will it regain any credibility with the public. For a start the IPCC's fourth assessment must be revised such that all data and metadata must be publicly available for every included study. Only then can any of its conclusions be taken seriously. That's not going to happen because such a review would prove AGW is the biggest scam in history.

Ultimately this done is done through some form of tax or expense of placed on the people.
