I'd say this qualifies:
Baroness Tonge, a Liberal Democrat frontbencher, has been sacked after calling for an inquiry into allegations that Israeli soldiers supporting the relief effort in Haiti had been involved with organ-trafficking.
Party leader Nick Clegg removed Lady Tonge as a Lib Dem health spokeswoman in the Lords on Friday, describing her remarks as ''wrong, distasteful and provocative''.
It is the second time she has been fired for making controversial comments about Israel.
The latest row followed accusations in the online Palestine Telegraph - of which Lady Tonge is a patron - that members of the Israeli Defence Force (IDF) had been harvesting body parts in the aftermath of the Haiti earthquake.
She subsequently told the Jewish Chronicle: ''To prevent allegations such as these - which have already been posted on You Tube - going any further, the IDF and the Israeli Medical Association should establish an independent inquiry immediately to clear the names of the team in Haiti.''
Fellow Lib Dems were said to have complained to Mr Clegg about her comments.
In a statement issued this evening, the leader said the peer ''apologises unreservedly''.
''Following discussions with the Leader of the Liberal Democrats in the House of Lords, Lord McNally, I have decided that Jenny Tonge will stand down as Liberal Democrat health spokesperson in the Lords following her unacceptable comments suggesting an inquiry into highly offensive allegations against the IDF humanitarian operation in Haiti,'' Mr Clegg said.
''The comments were wrong, distasteful and provocative and I recognise the deep and understandable distress they have caused to the Jewish community.
I can't help but wonder if this sort of thing qualifies as "the big lie", the one which members of the Religious Left are so quick to decry and counter.
Something tells me the answer is no... because it doesn't fit the meme.

Typical of most wild-eyed smear campaigns, the lady invites the Israelis to disprove unsupported allegations that she made in the first place.
Oh. They're on You Tube. My mistake.
And the Jews sacrifice Palestinian babies for their blood for secret religious rituals.
And the Holocaust is actually a myth.

Israeli organ trafficking is a well-known thing. The rabbis busted in New Jersey were engaged in just that with various members of organized crime termed mafia.
There is no such thing as an anti-semitic fact.
But to extrapolate beyond organs, US organizations for years would pay poor folks in India for their skeletons upon death for use in universities and medical colleges.
It always struck me as odd (considering the ease of casting copies in ad finitum), that perhaps there was organs involved then, too.
While transplantation might not have been aim way back when, gland and organ injections have been in and out of vogue for 100 years.
BTW, the epithet "anti-semitism" has lost its mojo. No one in real life uses the term in any serious way outside of maybe 50 people and their 1001 friends and flacks.
Everyone else rolls their eyes.

As soon as I read the headline, I thought someone will chime in "I define it with one word, 'BryanD' "
Little did I suspect he would beat everyone to it, and make himself the punchline.
As for Judenhass, cmon Bryan, you claim to speak fluent German. It's a classic compound word auf Deustch. Any German child could sort it out.

I never claimed to speak "fluent" German
(Link?)
You're dreaming of me again.
While I can decipher "Judenhass", I've never heard the word in my combined 5 years of living in Germany, nor do I remember ever laying eyes on the term.
But then again, besides the swastika being strictly prohibited, Rads don't go around kvetching.
Anyway, Germans enjoy practicing English if there's an American to talk to.
It also gives guys a chance to use an Americanized version of their name;
Happy is he who is able to say "Call me Joe!"
("Mike"'s are pleased, too. Uwes feel left out.)
P.S. I'll be expecting that link, Goofy.

Son, you need to reevaluate how you communicate. We put up with differing opinions, but not with stupidity. You have crossed the line. Surely, you aren't this dumb? Eyes rolling.
