I don't think I've heard of the UK Independence Party before. Drew M. at Ace of Spades thinks they are the libertarian/conservative party in the UK. While these folks have seats in the EU Parliament, they don't have any in the British Parliament. That's really too bad because Britain has descended into the deepest depths of nanny-state hell and that country needs a lot more voices like this one:

More voices that hurl insults at a man's appearance? At his alleged lack of "charisma?" That call a fellow NATO member and European Community partner a "non-country?"

UKIP is not the Conservative/Libertarian party of Enlgand. What they are is a single issue "UK out of the EU" party. Thus the "independence " label for independence from the EUSR. The libertarian party in England is LPUK headed by political swear blogger Chris Mounsey(sp) fo The Devil's Kitchen.
