Could This Be The Best Way to Kill Obamacare?

It is being reported that President Obama will refuse to campaign for those voting "no" on Obamacare. This might just be the best strategy possible -- for those wanting to kill Obamacare. Okay, maybe not really. It sounds like he is refusing the fund raising kind of visits that make lots of dough for the candidate, but don't necessarily result in pictures of the candidate with the president. When I saw this headline on Drudge though, "Obama refuses to campaign for Dems voting NO on health care," my first thought was that if Republicans could convince Democrats that a "Yes" vote would result in a high profile presidential visit to their district we might be able to kill this thing in a hurry. Just putting it out there.

That's like saying "If you don't do what we want, we're not going to throw you an anchor" to a drowning man.

Obama's not half the asset he thinks he is.

My regular lunch group zeroed in on that comment today and had the same response.

Obama is going to look pretty silly when ends up campaigning for the 'no' voters anyway.

Yeah sure, Obama and the DNC aren't going to help Democrat incumbents win in November because they want the Republicans to unseat them and make Obama a lame duck President just to spite the "No" voters.
LOL!

I'm sorry I missed that, Hugh. You beat me by almost two hours. I read your post about the different vote counts and associated chaos, but completely missed that one line about Obama's campaign threat. I may have been reading while watching Rolling Stones night on American Idol. That multitasking gets me every time!

Ya gotta hand it to Obama. Nothing, and I mean nothing, will ever dim his inflated opinion of himself and his magical powers.

So let's see, some Dems say they're voting no. This is a decision that will garner them more favor, especially among independents. Obama says he won't campaign for them. Judging from past experience, I'd say his very absence will help them even more.

It's a win-win for these guys.

Mrs. Right:

Ugh, I hate to say this, but I really think Obamacare will pass. Regardless of the votes or the fact that most Americans are opposed to it. This administration doesn't care. They'll do whatever it takes to expand the government and pass their agenda. I'd bet on it. In fact, I will bet on it. I really want to be wrong, but I foresee this disaster passing.

So what can we do to reject it, combat it, fight back and reclaim our country? It'd be great if we could deport all the left-wing moonbats to Russia. They want a socialist utopia so badly? Here you go! A great big country with lots of space just waiting for you! Everyone is equal (although some are more equal than others). Bye! DLTDHYOTWO.

True, but he's quadruple the ass we thought he was last year.
