That's the America we all k... (Below threshold)1. Posted by Boots | March 29, 2010 4:44 PM | Score: 8 (10 votes cast)
That's the America we all know and love. People coming together to celebrate, and how telling that it's in Texas, one of the most conservative states in the union.
Here in uber-liberal land where I live, you would never see that kind of celebration. Libs divide people into groups and play the groups off against one another.

Yep, this is the Texas way of celebrating. Liberals like to talk about "diversity", conservatives practice true diversity. This little celebration demonstrates it in the best way possible. Happy Passover to Wizbang's Jewish readers.

Texans understand what it means to have their culture hated by their neighbors (in Texas' case, other, envy-stricken U.S. states). Of course they'd have an affinity for Jewish culture.

Cheney, it's downright embarrassing to see the lengths Texans go to in order to conceal their inferiority complex towards New Hampshire. All that braggadocio, because they can't bring themselves to admit that the Lone Star State, as great as it is, can't quite be as awesome as the Granite State.
Buck up, buckaroos. No, you're not New Hampshire, but there's no shame in being second when first is so incomparably fantastic.
