Zombie at PJMedia is asking:
On March 27, 2010, thousands of people gathered in the small town of Searchlight, Nevada, for a political rally.
Just 250 miles away and seven days earlier, there was another political rally of similar size in Los Angeles on March 20, 2010.
The Searchlight rally was generally oriented toward the political "right."
The Los Angeles rally was generally oriented toward the political "left."
Now, if you had only the entrenched media as your sole source of information about these rallies, you might likely assume (without even bothering to investigate) that the right-wing rally was an epicenter of hate, racism and craziness, whereas the left-wing rally was undoubtedly about peace, tolerance and rationalism.
Luckily, we no longer have to rely on the mainstream media. In both cases, citizen journalist bloggers were on hand to document the proceedings with eye-opening photo essays.
...
At which rally would you feel more comfortable?
Show this essay to people you know who are liberals, or conservatives, or middle-of-the-roaders, and ask them: In all honesty, if you had to choose to be associated with the protesters at either rally, which would make you least embarrassed?
They say you are defined by the company you keep. Time to choose.
Go check it out and tell me which side best represents America and America's hopes and dreams.

How come the left never gets called on for having pistures of mass murderers held up as political icons?
You don't see birther signs up at Tea Parties. They are generally shunned by the right, but the left embraces the truther lunatics.
They also embrace the islamic terror supporters.
So according to the media, I should be supporting terrorists, murderers and lunatics instead of people who want freedom and self reliance.
Hmmm.

Of course - because only the LEFT is truely concerned with freedom. The right wants all those hard things, like responsibility and actual work to change things, and the idea that you're not going to be able to get everything you want at one time - that you've got to implement things as the money becomes available and if the money isn't there you need to take a long and hard look at just how much you need what you want.
And if you don't believe as they do - you need to be jailed and your thinking changed until you do - because you've got to have the right of free speech!
The wierd thing is, they really don't seem to see the dichotomy behind their attitudes.
Dr. Helen's got some thoughts on the matter...
I am not saying here that liberals are psychopaths, for this would be incorrect for the most part. What I am saying is that their inability to understand the morality of conservatives makes them unable to understand their point of view, just as a psychopath does not understand the morality of normal people. One commenter thinks that instead of the left being psychopaths, they're more sociopaths - and from the listing (and the way our resident trolls act, like the Stevie Twins) it might be correct.

Sometimes, though, I think that the difference between Left and Right is that the Left has absolutely no thought of the costs or consequences deriving from getting what they want.

Good article at AT. I'm dating myself but, I was at the "political" rallies on campuses in the late 60's/early 70's. They were nothing like what the tea parties are now. Yes, we held up "Soul on Ice" at the rallies. Some even threw the books at the "pigs" or the "man" among other things.

Gotta love the liberal protest signs.
They worship Che, believe 911 was an inside job, support Intifada, support violence against jewish people, hate capitalism and yet, march hand in hand with a sign proclaiming "Peace Now".
I agree with JLawson in that liberals give no thought to cost or consequences. How could they? They'd need to be somewhat rational to do so. And that appears to be above their "pay grade".
