In other words, the evidence is in that Obama and his minions were telling fat fibs:
President Barack Obama's health care overhaul law is getting a mixed verdict in the first comprehensive look by neutral experts: More Americans will be covered, but costs are also going up.
Economic experts at the Health and Human Services Department concluded in a report issued Thursday that the health care remake will achieve Obama's aim of expanding health insurance -- adding 34 million to the coverage rolls.
But the analysis also found that the law falls short of the president's twin goal of controlling runaway costs, raising projected spending by about 1 percent over 10 years. That increase could get bigger, since Medicare cuts in the law may be unrealistic and unsustainable, the report warned.
It's a worrisome assessment for Democrats.
In particular, concerns about Medicare could become a major political liability in the midterm elections. The report projected that Medicare cuts could drive about 15 percent of hospitals and other institutional providers into the red, "possibly jeopardizing access" to care for seniors.
The report from Medicare's Office of the Actuary carried a disclaimer saying it does not represent the official position of the Obama administration. White House officials have repeatedly complained that such analyses have been too pessimistic and lowball the law's potential to achieve savings.
The disclaimer is an obvious one. The official position of the Obama administration is to lie for the sole purpose of fooling the people into supporting their loser causes.
Legal Insurrection puts things this way:
Now it makes sense. The Democrats refused to delay the vote on Obamacare even though the Medicare Actuary was not able to complete his analysis and cost estimates in time for the vote. In light of this report, it is clear why the Democrats didn't want to wait. They could game the CBO, but not the Medicare Actuary.
They're not just gaming the CBO. They're gaming the country.

"They're gaming the country."
This is surely no longer a mystery. Obama's pathologic lying is so glaring and such a fundamental aspect of his character that from this point forward only the American public can be blamed if he continues to be successful at it. Frankly, in the face of his success I really think his reliance on the big lie is what makes him potentially vulnerable in a serious way. I am stunned he gets away with it. It's not even subtle.
I'll add that I am not going to hold my breath thinking that the Republican "elite" in Congress is as serious as they convey about reversing his policies. As much hubris as the Democrats show, I think the Republicans will prove to be cowards when it comes to the big fight. I want to be wrong, however.

I'm shocked! Shocked to discover that the Democrats cooked the numbers on healthcare reform's costs. And no matter how bad the Democrats knew it was, it is, in reality, much worse than they expected.
And these idiots wonder why the overwhelming majority don't trust government.

If you think the upward budget projections are a surprise, wait until actual cost overruns start to appear.
Roll over, close your eyes and think of England. Public healthcare is the single largest item in their national budget. The NHS is the third largest employer in the world, right after the Red Chinese Army and the Indian National Railways.
But we're going to CONTROL those costs!
Bullshit. Think of Greece, because that's where we're headed.

Surprise? That's about as surprising as the "unexpected" unemployment numbers every week.
