If Bush were President...

... can you imagine the uproar?

Former governor Rod Blagojevich's defense team asked Thursday to issue a trial subpoena to the President of the United States of America.

The motion, intended to be heavily redacted, was improperly edited -- the full document was easily viewable if the text is copied and pasted to another document (an error first revealed on Capitol Fax).

Below, the six revelations the redacted portions were meant to conceal.

1. Obama may have lied about conversations with convicted fraudster Tony Rezko

2. Obama may have overtly recommended Valerie Jarret for his Senate seat

3. A supporter of President Obama may have offered quid pro quo on a Jarrett senate appointment

4. Obama maintained a list of good Senate candidates

5. Rahm Emanuel allegedly floated Cheryl Jackson's name for the Senate seat

6. Obama had a secret phone call with Blagojevich

Details at the link.

At Doug Ross' place, a comment that sums things up quite nicely:

It wouldn't matter if he raped a 7 year old boy on the White House lawn. Unless the GOP regains the Senate and House, none of this will ever be brought to light. Certainly not by the MSM.

Now, had ths been Bush, he would have been forced to resign, and quite possibly, kill himself.

You know it's true.

Democrats from Chicago...the lowest form of life known to man! Our Cockroach-In-Chief must be so proud!!

How out of touch are you? ... (Below threshold)
John RYskamp:

How out of touch are you? Barry carried the 2003 Health Facilities Planning Board legislation which allowed Rezko to keep control of the board. Barry got kickbacks for it. Case closed.

Obama, just like Rezko, Blago, Auchi and Alsammarae, are flunkeys for the GenMed, the Syrian mafia front which specializes in real estate scams and government contract kickbacks.

Obama is all over the Levine tapes, and is sure to be indicted soon.

If you had a brain in your silly head, you would have noted that although the 2003 legislation is prominently featured in the 2009 complaint against Blago (pp. 19-23), it disappears completely from the superseding indictment. Why? Because it is the centerpiece of the Board case against Obama.

By the way, in case you decide to do some research instead of your silly blathering, both documents are online at the website of the U.S. attorney for the Northern District of Illinois.

There are at least FOUR charges of perjury in the intentionally faultily "redacted" document.

This is simply Blago's little shot across the bow for Barry.

Obama is a cheap, stupid pimp. Period. Wake up and grow up.

What you don't know is that Cari has been feeding testimony to Fitzgerald for nearly as long as Rezko. Who is the target of that investigation? The other cheap pimp hood: Biden, who will also be indicted.

Leaving us with....the biggest irony in American history: President Pelosi, the ultimate mafia princess, whose father was mayor of Baltimore and one of the biggest crooks who ever lived.

I think the free hint here is that if the impeachment process takes place Nancy ain't gonna be speaker by the time it goes down.

Even an indictment and conviction would take more than the 8 months remaining before the next congress is seated, she's toaster trash.

obama won't be impeached. Even if (and that's a big if) the Blago trial uncovers enough evidence to demonstrate the Barry was involved in some illegal doings, by the time it comes out he will be in the 2012 election cycle and he will be gone.

With people speculating about not whether he will have a primary opponent, but how tough that opponent will be, I don't anticipate more than 4 years of this crap unless he acts to suspend elections.

Jim Addison:

I don't see how the judge can deny Blago's side the chance to examine Obama. He and Obama had at least one conversation on the Senate seat recorded by the FBI, and Obama was questioned about their contacts. Rezko is a prime witness against Blago and was Obama's close associate, supporter, next-door neighbor, etc. Obama could potentially offer exculpatory testimony, or testimony which might contradict or at least impeach Rezko's.

Of course, he could always take the Fifth.

Joe:

Words are not enough to describe what Obama has done to our country in such a short time.

Only a one term President would move so fast and so far. He knows his time is short and he will make the most of it for himself alone.

Fear not good people, after only a short time in the history of America will Obama be gone and we will start to forget.

Another great American will come forth to lead this nation and more chapters of great American history will follow. We will be proud once again.
